I just connected my 2 years old buds with my OnePlus Nord2 5G phone. I put the buds in the open case, hold the case button for 2 sec until the white led flashes. Then I got a popup window on the phone , rest was self-explaining. With the HeyMelody app it is possible to configure a double tap left and right e.g. to play/stop the music. Sound seems to be quite good. All in all a bit complicated.

use any third party Equalizer dolby atmos doesn't make a big difference it's just that treble gets a little boost

1 earbud doesn't work....get a Red stable indicator when trying to reset it individually. It shows green light when put back in case. Firmware upgrade 352.352.236 not happening either as it fails with error "keep both buds in case". The other side works, connect & gets reset with all indications Green, White , Red flashing.

Everything is fantastic about these buds apart from regular disconnection every now and then with my one plus 7 t pro. Got it replaced, had trouble shooting with tech support but problem persists. Don't know what to do visited service center many times got my phone reset twice lost everything but service center is outsourced so the people are also indifferent about the problem. Worst experience ever with a well reputed company.

OnePlus Buds Z is the crappiest piece of electrons I've ever owned. Audio just keeps auto pausing no matter what I do.. there is no way to disable this "feature". It didn't even help when I covered all the proximity sensors with scotch tape! They just reached their new home in a dumpster and I bought earfun.
