I got the cheap OnePlus 12, the 12R and will not change for anything on the horizon. That thing is brilliant (really, very VERY bright) And yes, it costs more than this effort, it is worth it. Should be coming down in price soon. And it got a IR blaster, so much fun 😀

For me it has to be either the Google Pixel 7a or 8a, whichever you can get a better deal on. They're unmatched for cameras, supported for a long time, and I find them plenty fast and the battery lasts all day for me.

As others have said...that chip is pants. I have the CE3 and its ok for day to day use. I like the fact it has a headphone jack and a sd card slot {all my music and photos are on a card as it is too convenient when i get a new phone} but come on Oneplus get the chip updated ffs. They really need next years model to have a decent chip and hopefully a camera with stabilization and can do 4K. Only then would i consider

Come on dude love your reviews but feel like you sold out on this one. Including the snapdragon 695G 3 years in a row is criminal when there asking £300. You can get the Nothing Phone 2a for the same price which is a miles better phone or the Redmi Note 13 Pro is better for less money. The only thing this phone has going for it is that lush blue but this phone should have been priced at £179.

On certain models, probably those for India, there is the "display mode" option, on the others this option no longer exists and as a result the display turns off and does not stay on permanently. Ugly from Oneplus! Xiaomi still does something like this with their phones.

I have a very laggy and slow note 8 😅. I was already set on getting the nord ce 3 lite 5g, but saw this just came out. The 3 is around 235 dollars and the 4 is around 320. Should I just stick to the CE 3 lite? They seem very similar, and it's not for heavy gaming. Any suggestions of which one should I go for or other alternatives for around those same prices?
