OnePlus Nord N30 5G vs OnePlus Nord N20 5G - Who Will Win?

I have a n10 which I think is a much better phone than the n20, especially since they reduced the N20 to a single speaker. I like that they went back to dual speakers on the 30, but I have a feeling what they did was just undo the downgrades of the n20 and rerelease the n10 with a couple minor improvements, like the larger battery and the refresh rate. Pretty weak IMO. That being said I really like the N10. Considering it was free, it's a great phone. My previous phone was an LG V40 which is a much more premium phone, but to be honest the N10 doesn't feel like a downgrade. They downgraded the N20 which I found to be inferior to the N10. Hopefully the N30 is at least the equivalent of the N10, but since it's 2 years newer it would be nice to have some significant upgrades. You can get the phone for free from Metro, so for free it's amazing, but if you are paying for it there are far better options at $300.

@@DjFrankGee2 The N10 and N20 were the same size. 6.4. I wouldn't call that tiny. I like the size of my N10. I'd like to get one of the Pixel A series, but they are always too small at 6.1.

N20 on 12 and n30 hasn't got 14 probably for 6 more months , amoled all the way refresh rate could be 200 and still wouldn't be better they know it that's why they try and make you feel a lil better giving you LCD with 120hz

I would say yes, I like the amoled and the size. Plus finger print scanner. Sleeker and nice metal back. N30 if you want a larger faster refresh display and the stereo sound and a worse body material. But both have warp speed charging which I think is a Hugh reason to snag a OnePlus, it uses a multiple battery system that allows charging your phone in like 15 mins even with the slower n20 33 watt. But this also makes them both non water resistant.

Ok I have the N200 but ready for a major change. I' done compared the N10,20 and 30. Right now I see a price of 170 for N20 and a pice of 299 for the n 30 I'm with Mint. I tend to go 2 years between phones. Is it worth the extra money for the n30 over the n20? Either way it's an upgrade over what I got now. Mainly what I"m all in ofr the 128 GB over the mere 64. I'm surprised I've lasted almost 2 years with only 64 GB in the N200 still 10 GB left too but yea I'm ready for an upgrade. Seeing your video makes me think maybe it;s not worth the extra 120 for the N30 but what would you say?

N20 is a good bet, maybe you can grab one for really cheap with a network switch. I love my n20 but I also got one for 60 bucks.

Yes but if you want a beautiful AMOLED display go for the n20 I promise you it's so worth it , the display colors on a lcd vs AMOLED is no comparing

Wow OnePlus is ruining themselves. Anyone else notice their n20 battery draining faster over the past 2 months? I had this same problem last year with my n200. It seems to me they are doing what Apple used to do and self sabotaging their older products forcing you to buy the new one. Well i wont be buying another OnePlus phone. They already ruined their UI with that awful update last year. This company had so much potential and they are now just trash

Lol y'all so silly, remember to always charge your phone and let it run down without charging it between and never leave on the charger. I see a ton of people come in and they only charge their phone in their car and basically trickle charge. No one is making an update that destroys your phone. Apple's really only issue is dropping iOS support for phones too quickly. If apple was doing this why do I have a pile of MacBook pros 2012 i7s with ssds running Catalina that run perfect. Guess I just outsmarted a trillion dollar company's virus that blow up older machines

I broke the n20 today dropping it and I had a case and screen protector. I have dropped it a lot but I surprised it broke and I bought the n 30 today and they charged me $350 at MetroPCS and I feel like I got scammed but that's after taxes and fees

I was in the same boat until I found out the n30 has no AMOLED display, all and all the n20 is super fast and snappy , but I just can't go back to a ips lcd the n20s screen is so beautiful

Such a downgrade for a next gen model. Even side by side... The problems you mentioned with the N20 can all be remedied by software aside from the 60Hz screen (which looks much better regardless of refresh rate)

Yeah no AMOLED is a deal breaker , even if the n30 has 120hz the AMOLED colors are so so much more beautiful, I can't go back to a lcd with greyish black colors and dull rgb with bad viewing angles , and the n20 was never a slow phone at all, only thing n20 is missing is dual speaker but I will not downgrade a beautiful display for a sound
