play this song at least once a day. It inspires and energizes me, as well as expressing my beliefs and life so far. At almost 92, I have plenty of broken bones, but I not only lived, I've thrived. I was caregiver to my husband, who recognized me and was happy and cheerful to the end at 96 years old. We had so many adventures together. Blessed with good health, I still have the most wonderful adventures with my family, traveling so many places and doing and learning so much. I'm planning this summer's adventures already. I even have a picture of myself holding up my full glass to the sun setting over the beautiful ocean. I have no regrets and much to be thankful for. Raise a cup. Cheers.

My father died from colon cancer when i was just 4, then my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 3 years ago and i had to live alone for 4 months by myself making food and taking care of the bills and stuff while she was in the hospital. I was only a 16 year old freshman i high school but i did it all. Thankfully my mom survived because they had gotten the cancer in time and she recovered but now she suffers from depression. One thing I've realized is that what really gives you deep fulfilment is not achieving what you want. It's making the decision to go after it and enjoying the process. Even if you fail and things do not work out, you will be happy that you made that decision because you learned so much and went through a level of growth you would never have achieved otherwise. That is the feeling this song evokes.

when i listen to this song.. - it gives me shivers of nostalgia - it make me believe in myslef - it makes me think about my life, and the amazing journey i've had so far and how much more is to come. i know everyone will have different feelings but i always come back for these three reasons and this song will ALWAYS be amazing and have a place in my heart.

people probably aren’t gonna read this whole thing but. this song hits so different... I’m graduating next year and I feel like singing this song in front of my whole school. but I don’t have the courage to. I think that I have a bad voice. and leaving all my friends is just too much. they’re everything. they make my laugh, cheer me up, and I know, that sometimes they didn’t stand up for me in actual situations. but, I know that they won’t do it again, cause everyone deserves a second chance. I lost a lot of friends in 2019, but that’s just life. I lost my 2 best friends. we would actually stick up for each other. now I only have 2 friends that stick up for me and make me feel better. I’m still friends with the people who didn’t but.. I miss my old besties. I used to have no friends for so many years. no one cared about me. I didn’t want to go to school. I still have friends that make fun of me and joke about me that I don’t like. but I’m trying to stay strong. cause I know people will make fun of me for crying. I’ve always hid my feelings. I felt useless. what am I doing with my life. I was body shaming my self, trying to lose weight, I don’t like when my friends say mean things about me. like what I like or what I do or what I am. you can’t change me for who I am. i was born like this. life can be tough sometimes. but that’s normal. life doesn’t have to be perfect. so never change yourself. you’re that person for a reason. you’re not that only one feeling like this. find new friends. people who will actually help you in stuff. they might be your “friend” but you can find who is fake in a real life situation. I know, I know, I said that I’m still friends with them, but if they really really hurt you, you might want to leave them. cause if they keep doing this, it’s not good find some new friends that actually care about you. cause you matter❤️

this is so inspiring 💕 it reminds me of a post i saw somewhere: you’ll always be ‘young’ in someone’s eyes and ‘old’ in someone else’s. ‘talented’ to a friend and ‘terrible’ to another. the world is never gonna agree on a definition of what you are, so you might as well ignore all that shit and be whatever you wanna be for yourself

i just realised that the background drums sound like a heartbeat, like when you’re recovering from ‘a fall’ (could be a suicide jump or a metaphorical one which caused you much mental stress) or an overdose or natural causes etc etc it starts off short and slow, as in a dying heartbeat then gradually when it gets to the chorus, the drums become quicker and reach the speed of a normal heartbeat; after the chorus the ‘heartbeat’ is a lot more evened out and capable of beating on its own. i feel like this song could be a representation of surviving death through even the worst scenarios: whether it be self-inflicted or an accident, they still *lived*

This song makes me want to do so many things while I’m still here. To travel the world. To tell that guy I like him. To try my hardest in school and become a doctor like I’ve always wanted. To own a bunch of dogs. To take risks. To be more outgoing and not care what people think. Because you really do only live once but I believe that if you live right once is enough. Do more of the things that scare you and less of the things that bore you. Do it all💫

I broke my left arm (around 5 yrs) my left thumb (at like 7 yrs old) fractured my shoulder & my ankle.. I even got attacked by 2 dogs when I was 11 yrs old got stitches on my arm & my head. But the worst part is not being able to really get to know my family more, I lost a brother that I've never met.. I love you bro Clinton always and forever😢❤ I'm just glad I'm back home with my Fam. Repost if... -You always hear your name even when if it's not being called. -You hate hearing your voice in recordings. -You use the word "thingy" when you can't remember what something is called. -You pretend you're writing in class so the teacher won't call on you. -You say the entire alphabet because you can't remember what letter comes next. -You and your best friend can say one word and crack up. -You hate it when one of your hoodie strings is longer than the other. -You hate it when someone thinks you like someone when you clearly don't. -You hate it when your favorite song comes on as you pull into the driveway. -You feel like if you turn on the lights, you'll be safe from anything. -You push those little buttons on the lids of fast-food drinks. -You love it when you tell a guy to shut up and they copy you in a higher voice and you both start laughing. ~reposted~ Edit: Holy cow this was posted 6 months ago I didn't even relied it had this many likes😂😂

I'm 19. I know only just started my life compared to some of yall. but whatever i've lived through so far, has been great. I've felt happiness. I've felt sadness. I've felt hopeful and also hopeless. I've lived with my loving family and I've also lived on my own. I've been the most popular girl in school and I've also been the loser. I've sung when words failed me, I've danced when my body couldn't contain my emotions, I've written what what my soul wanted to say when my mouth was unable to. I've been at the top of my class and I've also failed. I've played sports and practiced martial arts. I've travelled the country, the desserts, the mountains, the seas. I've lost a friend and gained many more. I've attended weddings and funerals. I've felt like a girl on some days and like a boy on others. I've tasted what noone was willing to try. I've loved, dearly, passionately, unconditionally and I've gotten my heart broken. I've been on the brink of giving it all up as well. And as I closed my eyes with my blade clutched in my hand.... I realised I haven't lived enough. I wanted to live more, expirience more, laugh more, cry more and just live. And so I did. I've lived without regret so far and I hope to do the same for the rest of my life.
