Its not astma, its his singing techique , its a combination of rapid breathing to create a fast vibrato and control over the diaphragm to do emotional wailing ,also to adjust to unique nuanses, problem is the audio recording isnt doing them justice. Listen to secrets live in Dortmund. It really grips their full sound.
