I think it's more of di na nag-underperform si Cruz unlike previous games. I mean, ba't naman sya papalitan ni Soreño if she's doing well naman sa court, edi nasira lang yung momentum nila. Kasi it's always her na pinapalitan ni coach Ramil to Soreño/Espina/Santos kasi inconsistent yung plays nya. Yung mga sakit lang nila actually are their simple offensive plays and inconsistent ball distribution and sets (aka Alba) and yung tendency nila to commit errors, and they were all addressed this game. Sana lang tuloy tuloy na silang ganyan sa finals para di sila matalo in straight sets ulit.

Now this is Jolina who've fully embraced her Ate role. Slowly, in terms of attacks she's becoming more likely her rookie self again, in terms of defense she has improved a lot. If you're a DLSU fan with consciousness of how hard the girls would battle for the trophy against NU, you know we have only 50% chance of winning a game. Come to think, NU beaten DLSU twice when they're at their most unstable performance, a factor of not having a solid setter, Mars Alba, and a solid attacker, Jolina Dela Cruz, but two of these seniors are now rising to the occasion. How do you think the finals would be like with Alba being stable, and Jolina finally in full form? I know NU has prepared a lot for this, and they've always been at the advantage, but one sure thing is DLSU will fight hard.

DLSU’s great defense won this game for them. Solid defense pattern allowing Jolina and Jazareno to easily read the attacks. Ateneo’s offense clearly wasn’t activated and Jaja rarely did some combination plays like what we saw in previous matches. So it’s not about Soreño anymore it means that solid Floor Defense can really defeat powerful attacks. DLSU really creating their own runs and the composure of these players are quite amazing! All are effective and efficient players so far. No combination plays but more on minimizing attacks of the opponents and well distributed by Mars Alba. Grabe Indeed the best Blocking team! Kudos for them to minimize Erika Raagas, Vannie Gandler and Faith Nisperos. I hope they will do it as well against NU. They have defense and so far they won some great rallies which is what they’re lacking during eliminations. Animo La Salle! 💚🏹

Sila talaga ang nagdikta ng game today. Sariling pacing nila kaya medyo delay yung defense ng Ateneo nasa tamang lugar naman sila pero sobrang late sa approach. I hope magawa nila sa NU which I doubt kasi mabilis ang pacing ng NU at dikit madalas sa net sana masabayan ng La Salle.
