Tsaka kahit anong panahon may ibubuga yung mga players. Like feu, ust, dlsu wala ng dapat patunayan at ilang beses na sila nasa podium at finals.

Nope, i disagree. napanood mo ba fully yung highlights or what? there were moments in that game na maganda first ball at receive nila but they totally struggled. what i mean with their "good floor defense" is may mga times na na-i aangat pa nila yung bola from almost touching the floor at nagagawa pa na mai free ball sa other side ng court.

The Buena-De Guzman is an effective diagonal. Pacia as opposite. Cortez as setter. More sets kay Miner at Sulit. They will be a very effective.

Ateneo can definitely be good once they start actually improving their set and plays. They can convert and definitely dig some hits but unlike UST who can penetrate dlsu's blocks despite being short on the average, admu is too predictable. And I think dlsu fans who are hating on the current admu are just disappointed that the iconic rivalry....isn't a thing anymore bc admu just couldn't keep up anymore unlike the time of Valdez and morado(i think despite always losing, Wong's batch is also a rivalry contender)

Pero nakkulangan pdin ako sa setting skills niya. Puro open, opposite and middle tapos backrow lang ang set kumbaga kung sa cake kulang ng toppings mag play din sana ng ibng variations combi play, double quick. But kuddos parin sknya ngaun,laki din na nacontribute niya sa points. Pero sana wag naman puro talon lang gawin ni Provido,sayang hindi nauutilize ang damot ni Coronel kay Provido mag set.

As a fan of Lady Spikers okay naman yung 1st set kaso sa ibang mga sets na medyo nakukulangan ako kay Julia Coronel. Kapag setter yung maraming points alam mo na hindi consistent yung mga plays niya and di maganda yung sets niya sa Spikers niya even sa Middles. Not happy sa performance pero Congrats cause a win is a win. Kudos to Lyka and Middles na may dig at receives even kila Alleiah and Canino for stepping up. I think need pa mag step up ni Coronel and maging consistent sa services ang girls.

They should’ve stayed with Pacia and Cortez as starting mb/setter. Cortez also sets high but she has better decision making and has a higher block reach than Taks. Also, Sulit is just really useless inside the court, not to be offensive. I said this before in another post but a decent blocker (Pacia) who rarely scores is better than a decent attacker (Sulit) who rarely scores. If my mb is having a hard time producing points and not a good blocker, then she doesn’t have any business being inside. For example, Aduke is a better attacker but i’ll choose Baron because she’s more helpful with her blocking and helps produce points even with her soft attacks

Kahit pa daw maganda resume/records mo pero 'pag nagchoke ka daw sa tryouts tas may mga ibang players na nagshine, talagang ma-o.overlook ka. Anyways, most superstar shorties sa UAAP did not choose La Salle as their go-to school nung pa-college na sila. Some preferred ADMU and mostly UST.

I think, 2 of the main reasons why Ateneo's recruiting went down are: 1. Pressure - pag ateneo ka, it's either aplauded ka or bashed ka nang malala. kahit gaano ka pa kagaling or anong buhat mo sa team mo, pag palpak yung buong team, kasalan mo yun. that's why feeling ko iniiwasan na ung school ng mga star players. 2. Management ( I guess) - siguro dini-divert na ng school ung support sa ibang sports or ibang bagay kaya hindi na gaanong stellar ang recruiting nila.

Di naman dehado sa recuriting ang Ateneo. In 82 they got the top recruit in Nisperos and blue chip Doromal, in 84 they got blue chip Miner and De Guzman and this season they got a blue chip setter in Cortez. Chaka lang talaga system nila and napag iwanan na sila ng La Salle

Sadly next year na sya. Iba talga presence ni leila at yun nawala ngayon. May match ang la salle na halos si leila ang nakikipag tapatan kay victoria at laure ng ust. Maganda ang leadership ni leila, team captain sya ng DLSU-SHS noon kaya nature nya mag lead. Hopefully sya mag team captain next season.
