Cops in GTA 5 don't normally follow, their vehicles were already sliding down the hill before your vehicle fell into the river. There's no way a real cop would stop the car at that point. Try it again and you'd see

GTA 4 is very realistic about that because when you hitting it very hard you basically breaking the whole car and there’s no point to put on the alarm but when you hit it softly it can actually survive the hit

The alarm works just fine in GTA 4. It's just only certain vehicles will have it. And vehicles such as the Ruiner, Landstalker, and the Sabre/rusty Sabre have a 50/50 chance for an alarm. It has nothing to do with how hard you hit em

My question: Do bullets follow real life physics? In water, IRL bullets would stop nearly instantly, becoming almost (if not) completely ineffective within a yard. Explosives would probably become MUCH deadlier, as water is incompressible, meaning that the player would likely implode if within the explosion radius. At least that is what my theory is.
