great play through. One small correction, in a 4 pirate game you should be using the Hungry Pirate Rule card. (set up Step 2) It means you don't have to send anyone to hungry pirates and the lowest infamy pirate resolves it as a bonus.

came back after buying the game and playing myself, to not have any big spoilers. A small remark, around 14:25, you discard the golden chompers, but they say to discard before performing the check, so you should have discarded it before knowing the result.

Yes would love to continue watching me hearties in action. Is there a minimum number of people to play the game, as it does seem like you might not manage to handle all the actions with 2 or 3? I really like the constellation part of the game, though does mean it loses some replayability if you have to fill in the papers?

Got it Ben thank you! So technically it is a 3-7 player game. Howver there are 1 and 2 player variants. There are over 20 pirates in the game, and you can just print out their character sheets so you have infinite plays of this game!!

What’s your thought on time limit for choosing locations? Does it Add anything to gameplay?

I would recommend playing the first 2-3 rounds without it, but after that it really helps the game move, and I don't find it a challenge to decide what actions within the 40-50 seconds at all. I will not play with the timer with my son who is 6, but for all adults it is great to not allow people to Min/Max if you know what I mean :)

I guess what I meant was some solo versions of games leave major parts of the game out or don’t use certain components etc was wondering if these anything like that with this game.

@@erikpeters7072 Ahh - so the answer to that is most certainly a no. You use all components even in solo play and the gameplay does not change. If you played true solo with only one character the infamy tracker is much different. You use that as your way of gaining constellations instead of through stars on your skills. Each time you would fill in a start you bump up your infamy, and if it would go off the board you gain a constellation and then start at the bottom of the track. A nice interesting twist but I felt like it changed the gameplay more than I wanted which was why I played with 4 pirates instead of using that variant. Hope that helps!!
