I have the same tent. I’ve had it set up in the bush near me for a month through snow and rain. I have my stove in it and a couple of chairs and a cot and there is still loads of room. I found some poles exactly 3 ft and six foot poles for the end. Absolutely no leaks. High quality tent. Greetings from Ontario Canada

That's great yours has had a lot of use then I'll be taking this out again soon thanks for watching and commenting

The ventilation is meant to be done by leaving a gap between zippers at either end of the tent. I leave about 4'' inches open when using my stove. No issues so far here in Canada. Solid tent for the price.
@MrWildWales3 жыл бұрын
The zippers are tied together on this one think it would make more sense leaving a gap 👌

You get a great amount of space in the tegimen which can be used for all different purposes not just a hammock.

Although you did post your first, I just found yours today, I saw Andy Kent Survival set this one up yesterday. He did set up and use the hammock for a one nighter. It's a really cool piece of kit, especially for hammock lovers. I know not everyone likes them, but to be able to use a stove in there, that's super!! Love your little dog too! Thanks for sharing!

Evening, cracking veiws there wow! Loved the first lockdown for that,how nature took things back. Interesting bit of kit, not for us, purely the faff factor and I dont think it suits our needs currently, maybe one day 🤗 But we can see the attraction for others, great vid thanks for sharing 🏕❤👍☕ Ceri and Kat

Yeah nature has had a good year for sure! This is a great area for exploring, full of abandoned quarries, mines and railways. It's a little bit fiddly to set up for sure I think it's like that because it saves a lot of weight you'd probably be looking at over 10kg with poles. Thanks for watching!

Nice to meet you. I am Japanese. I'm thinking of buying a onetigris tent in Japan, so your video was very helpful. Thank you very much. I use a hammock and I think this tent is the best tent for hammock enthusiasts. And your dog was so cute and healed. I also have a Jack Russell Terrier, a dog that originated in England.I also subscribed to the channel.

Had my eye on one of these for a while, I like the idea of hot hammocking as you are up in the heat zone, as I understand it lonewolf 902 had the initial idea, and when he left one tigris they have changed the design somewhat, I believe he is bringing out his own version so I might be tempted to wait for that. Atb Paul 🙏🏕️🏕️🏕️😁

There's a channel on here called Smokehouse Hammock who has been making them for years. I'd never heard of them until I saw it on the Onetigris website though. They are definitely a rarity though maybe we will see more of them from now on?

That thing looks huge, proper roomy abode there. Without a floor and being single skinned, and without ventilation flaps, will condensation be an issue do you think? So far most of the One Tigris stuff I have seen used on You Tube has had a good reception, I own a hammock and underquilt made by them and I am well pleased with the quality. Will look forward to seeing it used in the field, and I bet you will love the hammock even more after that 😁😁😁

I am a bit worried about condensation and being able to breathe too lol I think I'll be leaving a door slightly ajar. We will see what it's like in the field soon I look forward to testing it!

I have one. And this coyote brown is the best color. Its funny how the most popular choice is the Ranger green and it costs more. Anyone who has ever been cold climate camping knows the forest is brown and even in the summer, this coyote brown is a much better color to camouflage in with the environment. I like OD Green, but when it comes to relying on total stealth and camouflage and with thermal imaging , this coyote brown would be a lot less detectable against a nature back drop.
@MrWildWales Жыл бұрын

I wasn't too sure about this design when Lonewolf came up with the idea but I'm gonna have to admit I was wrong. It definitely has a practical use and I can now also see other uses for it. The three zippers should provide enough ventilation options so it shouldn't be an issue.

There's a few different uses for this I can think of it's pretty versatile. Bit worried about the lack of ventilation but we will see

Do you have to use the tie-outs or could you run a ridgeline? I've had grommets o And tie out loops fail under stress in the past. Also isn't there ventilation where the hammock straps come out?

There is loops for a ridge line yeah I did wonder if they were worth it but as you say tie outs could fail. Yes you will get some limited ventilation from the hammock strap part 👍

@@MrWildWales Thanks, so confirmation one stove is not enough apparently. Do you think the Pomoly T-Brick 2.0 with its expansion unit or the equivalent "package" named "Pomoly T-Brick Max" would be the solution to that problem ? (Pomoly T-Brick Max brings 2 chambers instead of one)
