I have 2 standard sturdy ones and have never been able to get a 3mm complex coil to work in it. Love the RBA and the new design so will be picking one up as in my humble opinion this is one of the best rbas I have and it’s always used daily. Great review as always Mark

Very good! It does have a nice look to it and I'd probably get one for my V2. I did make an adapter so I could actually hit the 510 threads and build it on one of my build rigs. I think any time you get close to the max on a variable, you lose a little on another for the gain you get. Just like mod size, you can only get so small before it becomes kind of hard to use. Diminishing returns and all that. I've been using my NarDa and the increased sweetness is something it does too. I do wish Nar would come back and do his take on an RBA. With how well some of these work I'm not sure what he would do, but he is the clever type and I'm sure it would be a banger.

Thanks mate - I'll definitely be picking one up, think the price is v reasonable compared with what you're looking at to customise a lot of RBAs, and think the look of the cap is enough to justify that cost, any improvements in flavour are a bonus!

I’m curious to see a follow up video if you try it with just the new cap and original insulator. That’s been my favorite way to run it with the OneUp so far and I’ve found it to be the most drastic change flavor wise. Excellent video, as always, and damn that looks stunning on the black SturdyOne. Mine are both stainless. 😂

That said, I’m with you on the seeming strangeness of the logic of increased wicking holes and condensed top cap. But something that offers good restriction but that wicks like crazy well sounds decent in theory no? Anyway, a very informative and detailed analysis. Good stuff Mr. T 😘 😊

For me I run a silver sturdy stock with a 4mm air pin and a java black with the upgrade and 4mm pin both running strawberry sweets juice flavour is the same in both however I find the one up is a lot less hassle to wick I run the one up like you have in this video and the og top cap I have to poke the cotton in as it can get dry hits otherwise

Before the upgrade i still chose to run 2.5mm, just liked it better. Also using 4mm pin. All honestly the upgrade makes it a whole new rba, to me.

Hi, Todd. As always, big fan. 8 have the dead rabbit mtl àtty. I like the flafour. Let's be honest it's not near podmod flavour. The wicks turn toàsted, black fairly quickly. Why and any advice?

Not an atty I use or have seen but did like either the juice being dirty, the coil or wattage being to high for the size of chamber or your wicking. Or I could just be guessing and naming everything 😋😁

@ToddsReviews thanks for the advice. I use clear juice and use a superfine 2.5mm dual clapton from vandy vape. It ohms out around 0.73 and I vape it between 16 and 18 watts. Perhaps my wicking needs practice.

Hey Todd, have you tried putting the sturdy in a tallboy tank? I’ve tried and I have connection issues. I think it has to do with the middle area. I have a crypt v2 tank and the sturdy works just fine. In the tallboy I’m running the ether with no issues. I just wanted to be able to run the sturdy in the tall boy tank. Any recommendations?

Also the sturdy is the v3 version not the one upgrade.

Never mind it was user error lol I did not push the adapter for boro all the way in. You really gotta push it in there and for anyone that is using this setup. I suggest adding the adapter first into the slot on the tallboy rba and push it all the way so that it’s flat then screw in the deck with the airflow pin.

Hey Todd I noticed you have the crypt tank. Any tips how to keep that bottom o-ring to stay in place. Mine keeps popping out the bottom. Even when I juice it up

If the bottom is not seating right and the gasket is deforming, give the gasket a wipe with a kitchen towel or cloth, and it should go back in much easier. Sounds weird as normally you juice the gasket up before but this is what worked for me.

@ToddsReviews I tried juicing it up a few times. Everything I close the tank after a rewick it just pushes the gasket down and forces it out. I did get a second gasket. Mayne I'll swap it out and see if it's any better. Thanks for the reply 👍 love the reviews .
