They so so so deserved the Show Champion award they just won. They fought for this song with RBW they believed in it that much. This song is so stuck in my head.

They collab with a pansori artist for their Intro Window (that have a MV performance!), Choi Yelim. It's amazing! And for this new album, called Blood Moon, the members participated a lot in all aspects! This was gonna be aprt of their Oneus Theatre project but the members wanted to be the title track, so they made a powerpoint, select props and outfits and talk with the Ceo and they win, Luna became the title track! Hwanwoong participated in the choreography for Luna and hyung line (Ravn, Seoho and Leedo) participated as lyricist and composer each one of them through the whole album! Leedo have lyrics credists for 6/7 songs and 1 as composer. Ravn have 5/7 lyrics credits and 2 as composer (one of them as main composer and lyricist, 사랑의 결말은 모 아니면 도 - Yes or No, the continuation of 물과 기름 - Polarity from the last album) Seoho 1 as lyricist and composer. The 3 of them participated in We're in love, one of my fav B-side of them ♥ And they win their 1st win in Show Champion yesterday (KST time), becaming the 1st boy group of 4th generation of kpop wining their 1st win in that show ♥ So proud of To Moon and Oneus

One of the coolest things about this song beyond all the really obvious traditional elements is the fact that the entire song is 100% in Korean, and while y'all already pointed out the poetry elements, Ravn even changed his signature line that introduces his raps. Instead of him saying "ra spit out flame" to introduce his sections, he says "라육시조", or loosely translated, "ravn recites poetry", 시조 being a traditional form of Korean poetry. :) They really went all in with this comeback and title track and I'm so happy they got their first win with this. It's absolutely my favorite ONEUS title track to date and I don't think I'll ever get over just how absolutely gorgeous it is. Their efforts were all worth it

Some ToMoons probably have explained this in some other reactors' comment. But what probably happens in the music video have to do with their previous MVs. Since they used to be monarchs(ref: Come Back Home) but being forgotten by their beloved humans and was cursed by Helios(To Be or Not To Be n CBH) to an eternal sleep but times has passed since then and no one remembers them as the monarchs who used to prosper(ref: Lit) so this is like them longing the time where they took(?) their beloved human subjects for granted(just the way I interpret it). Some said this could also be the ending had they choose to not sacrifice the blood of the child of red eclipse(Trailer for To Be or Not To Be) and No Diggity was if they choose to sacrifice the descendant for their prosperity. So in a way LUNA n No Diggity are the two different endings of To Be or Not To Be and are parallel to each other. Fun fact; this was not meant to be released as a title track but they fought for it to be released as one and since they got their first win, they will release the intial version of this song.

Loved your reaction and your perspective on the traditional Korean elements!!! I really think that ONEUS now stands out as representatives of Korean culture in K-pop. They did it in LIT and they have done it again in LUNA (and Intro: Window), where they did not just simply use Korean traditional instruments in the music, but they purposefully have unique elements of Korean culture permeate every aspect of the song, while also incorporating modern elements which complement the traditional perfectly. Being a non-Korean American, ONEUS' performance and musicality overcomes language and cultural barriers, and it is unarguably clear how artful the song and performance is even without all of the cultural context. (Being a non-Korean, I hope this is not too forward to say). To me, LIT showed the festive side of Korea, LUNA represents the deep, emotional aspects of its culture, and Intro: Window is a testament to the power of storytelling. Please please please please watch Intro: Window!! It is an experience of a lifetime.
