As a chair it is absolutely genius and you can sit on it whichever way around you find it most comfortable. It will definitely be going in my woodland bushcraft pack so that every time I head into the woods I will have a seat to sit on or somewhere to store my gear!
I am gutted I forgot to try it as a gear store under my hammock but I will definitely do this next time and I will have a lot of confidence in it taking the weight of my pack and anything else I shove in there with it having it's own straps.
As for using it to go to the toilet... I'm not sure that would work for me personally... maybe if you have a smaller bottom it may work for you, |I'll let you try that out for yourself!!

It's a novel idea but I would only use it as a chair. If I undid the zip and sat in the thing I'd be afraid that I'd fall through and end up stuck with my knees pressed against my chin and my bare arse not quite reaching the ground - somewhat embarrassing to say the least! There is another potential problem: How big would the cat hole need to be to be sure of hitting it? I can't imagine it would be easy to see where you are "aiming". No, I think I will stick with the "traditional" method and squat like I always do. But thanks for reviewing the product - it's great to see things I don't need! 🤣

Hiya Karen, To answer your question: 1. as a Chair - Yes; 2. as a Gear Hammock - Yes; 3. Use it as a Toilet - is a hard No I'm afraid. As you said, us ladies would likely get it wet if we did a wee on it, and squatting for a wee is not so bad, and there's always a She Wee (my friends have great success with those). But to use it for poop... Nah, sorry not going there. We have to dig a Cat hole and bury our business, can't imagine trying to 'aim' for that as we swing above it... Also, it did not look comfortable in toilet mode. I agree, genius but bonkers. Oh, let us know the Poll of Y/N in a future video. Thanks for sharing and Cheers from Down Under (Australia)

That was soooo funny 😂😂😂 dont know if youve ever seen those poop stools ? Basically its one of those 3 legged fold in camp stools, go outdoors and stuff sell, but the poop one has a huge hole in the middle and you attach a poo bag underneath then sit and do your business, there was one come up on fb marketplace and i was tempted but thought better of it lol 😂😂

An intriguing thought that has never really been answered in proper term as it still very a taboo subject when talking about the subject in a series way .I usually try to make a stool type construction on the first night of the camp or as soon as I can after setting up my tarp if I am in the woods . I sometimes take a large bucket with a bin bag inside of it and use a kitty litter type of stuff in the bag if I am van camping as I have the space to carry the bucket. Otherwise I just hope 🙏, I can find a suitable place. LOL . Hope you have a very Happy New Year, my friend. Take care from Big Andy from Darlington.

For sure, wouldn't want to risk getting in and out whilst a bit tiddly... Having a crap through the hole though, 1/ have to be careful getting up foot in poo a possibility. 2/ balls up getting up and stumble/fall on the poo. 3/ wiping ain't gonna happen sitting down so stand up only after the struggle to stand up while avoiding 1&2. 4/ your still going to dig the standard 8 inch hole anyway to get rid so why? That said the tree strap would be a useful hand hold to hang onto when in a crouch on full strain ;-)

Hi Karen, Great to see you tackling an issue that you ladies face when wild camping, we blokes have it so easy what with having a pointer and the invention of 750ml water bottles. I still chuckle at the thought of the KZbinr who said "if I offer you a drink from my blue bottle I probably don't like you that much". As for the gear it would seem to have only limited use, ie only when camping in suitable woodland, and presumably the drop would cause how shall I say, sound effects. So not suitable for your community camps. Cheers Graham

Nope. Speaking as a man that spends a lot of time outdoors, nothing will ever replace a sturdy tree to lean against, pants down to the knees, and letting it rip. Except an actual toilet. I’ve used buckets with a toilet seat and it’s to much to deal with. That hammock seat looks like it would get messy. Nope, just a camp shovel, biodegradable wet naps, and a sturdy tree. ❤
