Hi, Jayden! Nice report, as always. Looks like that plane was much cleaner, thankfully. I thought it was interesting the crew asked the passengers to close the overhead bins; I usually close the one over my seat if it's full after I put my bag in, or even if I can't fit my bag and I see it's full. Seems like the right thing to do. Banana bread isn't all bad - better than crackers and salsa! Still an expensive flight, it seems, for a one-way. Love that wallet...it's on my list! Although I didn't see a place for my driver's license. So you named the kitty Demon Doja? Ha ha! That's unique! Love it! Glad to see a Q&A at the end. Thanks again for your great work!

G'day Britt! Actually I recall one of the crew chatting with the passenger at 4D just before the safety demo, she said this aircraft had just got out from the hanger so it was particularly clean! Yep I love banana friend, I always have them for afternoon tea 😝 How does a US drivers license look like? Mine’s (South Australia) is the same size as any credit cards haha

A sad TV 😕 atleast free wifi is there! Did Qantas make wificfree onboard because they couldn't offer something for entertainment? Glad to know Qantas gradually brings back more options for food and drinks as the situation there gets better. 😊 Great video again Jayden!

Isn't it amazing that we're all waiting to hear about such a boring flight :). . I'm still envious of you (and my wife who's done QF 738 and Q400 flights this week). I'm no longer convinced about "bulkhead" seats - they're narrower, and I've had your experience with the floppy screen more than once. The legroom doesn't always make it OK, especially when it's not quite enough for 190cm me to stretch. Take care and please keep posting!

Not sure when will the next international flight be. Perhaps December if I go back to Hong Kong, but that means 14-day quarantine and it'll be one way because Australia now bans all non-citizens and non-permanent residents from entering (i'm a temporary resident). I do keep my boarding passes, both on my phone and the paper ones! :D thanks Eric!

Living under the beginning of one of the final approach routes into LHR, I normally turn on Flightradar so that I can track the aircraft I hear above. thanks for watching Derek! Back in boarding, the 4 times weekly Cathay from Hong Kong always woke me up at 5am😂 the A330 RR engines are really loud and it always woke me up lol. And now I moved to a different suburb, living with my friends, I always hear Qatar A350, Emirates 777 and Cathay A330 all taking off within the same hour around 10-11pm. Miss those flights coming in and out of Adelaide. There are now quite a few 737 and 320 flying in and out but I cannot hear them😂

You got to try eva air...been flying them for years even from their early years ...from the USA to Singapore via Taiwan ...one of my top 3 countries...they are super awesome in service and over all product except the green color ain't much to my liking although their new livery is alot better than the original one!...stay safe didi!🥰

Emmm can you explain more about the relation between IFE and cost incurred?

Sure! Airlines have to pay for license fees when they offer IFE on TV. Sometimes based on the clicks (how many movies watched) sometimes a fixed fees and it’s quite a large amount! Qantas released the actual figure months ago but I can’t find it now. In terms of Wifi. Most airlines that charge still offer it now because passengers will pay to use. But with Qantas, Wifi is and has always been free and it’s costly too. So when the pandemic began they shut everything off :) Same reason why British Airways doesn’t offer IFE on their 777 and A350 to Madrid. Tickets are as low as £30 and some passengers with status have lounge access and as such they can’t afford another ‘perk’. So IFE is compromised especially on such a short flight where people might click start for a movie but won’t be able to finish it (and BA still has to pay for that)
