Baliktad sakin. Plain bar soap lang ang pwede sa face ko dahil madalas ang mga facial wash na may AHA BHA or salicylic acid is super mag react sa face ko (as in namumula and lalo akong nagkaka break out). Neutrogena Original Formula Facial Bar Soap ang gamit ko.

Sharing my own experience I originally have a very clear skin na laging pinupuri ng classmates ko noon. Madalang ako magka-pimples na natutuwa pa ako noon pag nagkakaroon ako and during that time noon wala naman talaga akong ginagamit sa mukha ko kung anong sabon sa CR yun na. Then I got into skincare, at first okay pa naman my skin even got better na lagi nilang tinatanong kung anong gamit ko. Sadly nagstart ako magka break out and I tell you I invested most of my allowance and time for skincare products para lang bumuti yung skin ko. I watched a lot of videos from popular influencers and dermatologist na may alam talaga and tried a lot of products na kahit ang mamahal go parin basta sabi ko please I’m willing to try mawala lang tong pimples ko. I tried a lot at sobrang mapili ako talagang before ako bumili inaaral ko muna yung product at kung babagay ba siya sa skin type ko pero wala parin. It’s a cycle bibili ako tas wala parin hanggang sa one time nag out of town kami then naiwan ko yung usal facial wash ko tas ang gamit ko lang is yung sabon sa banyo na sulfur soap. Tas daiii di ako tinubuan ng pimpless na bago at kumalma sila. That’s when i gave up everything except my sunscreen tas yung sulfur soap lang huhu. Thank God okay naman hanggang ngayon and bumabalik na sa dati yung skin ko. Nakakatuwa lang, it’s been a journey for me to find what works best para sa skin ko. Hindi na ako mag iinarte kung talagang pang 50 pesos lang ang gusto ng mukha kong sabon. Di na ako magrerwklamo dahil laking tipid na din wahahahah. Ayun lang. Btw I use the sulfur soap of Dr. S Wongs day and night. Hindi ako nag mo moisturizer dahil nagkaka pimples ako kung gagamit. But i always use sunscreen sa umaga. My faves are yung Aloe sunscreen from COSRX and yung Zero sunscreen from Romand.❤️❤️❤️

@@kaynesr5563 Hi. I find it fine na po sakin since most likely I feel like enough na yung suncreen to moisturize my face during daytime. Lalo na’t tropical country po tayo at nalalagkitan ako pag masyadong madaming ina apply. Another reason po is madaling ma clog yung pores ko kaya ngayon yung 2 layers of products na yung maximum sakin. Sa gabi naman po kaya hindi ako na ako gumagamit is mas gusto ko yung feeling na wala nang nakalagay na kahit ano sa skin ko. Parang yung term na “I let my skin breath.” I would really really love to include moisturizer in my routine po kasi i still believe na it is a must to hydrate our skin. However, iyun nga ayaw ng skin ko haha. It’s a matter of preference narin po at kung ano yung mag wo work satin.

@@kaynesr5563 It is recommended po to always use sunscreens kahit nasa loob lang ng bahay kasi yung UV rays they past through windows po. Lalo na pag lalabas ka. Kahit po asa shade tayo, maaari paring mag bounce yung UV rays.

Omg we have the same story, back in the elementary and grade 7 days I was also praised for my good skin and then I started using skincare products around mid pandemic and then yun nagbreak out ako, i’m still in my breakout part so sana makwento ko din yung happy ending ng journey ko. Yung 3rd derma I went to (kasi di naman nawawala yung acne problems ko), recommended Acne aid which is a bar soap (original variant). That worked for me, it cleared my skin. As compared to using cleansers like Cetaphil, physiogel, and other liquid cleansers

To each his/her own, my mom is only using ponds cold cream and eskinol and any bar soap, never used sunscreen..she’s 71 now, she doesn’t have pekas or brown spots, her skin is moist and glowing, bright, she even sleeps with make up on, di sya maalaga skin nya , she doesn’t put effort, many complemented her skin, she only has few forehead wrinkles but the rest of her skin is soft, bright, and clear..tas ako maraming nilalagay, ang panget pa ng skin ko lol..

Dove Sensitive is the best! Na heal niya ang perioral dermatitis ko and maganda siya sa face. Hindi dry... No need to moisturise.. Mild lng siya. Prescribed din siya ng derma ko. 80 - 90 pesos only sa Watson.

You just saved me a lot of money Momma Jan, I was actually more knowledgeable in my skin sa face than sa body ko and as I was desperately trying to bring back my real skin tone kasi I became more dark toned recently because I’m not using sunscreen and really taking care of my body kaya naisip ko maybe I should try to use Kojic acid soaps again which I used before but having watched yung second to the last portion ng video made me realize na I can just stick with dove as a gentle cleansing bar (mura pa lol) and then just focus using the kojic acid ingredient in a topical form. Dahil nga sa nabanggit mo na research when it comes to these “lightening” actives.❤

Teranex user here HAHAHA wala akong ibang masabi sakanya kundi walang amoy talaga and hindi nakakadry ng balat. Natakot din ako nung una kasi misconception ko lahat ng bar soaps ay mataas ph level pero ito hindi HAHAHA. I use vit c para sa redmarks pero now kasi di na ako nag teranex kasi I am using tretinoin na po and my derma adviced to use gentle cleanser kasi sensitive skin ako. I have dry and sensitive skin and prone to eczema. Nagka acne breakout din ako dati sa face because steroid withdrawal na hindi na-address ng previous doctor ko. Nagpalit ako ng dermatologist and she prescribed Everwhite soap for face and body. That was when malala yung dyshidrotic eczema ko on my hands and feet and I'm still on the road to recovery. Hindi siya drying pero meron konting scent. I use it with Avene Xeracalm Lotion. Naglighten din yung acne scars because of Everwhite. Today clear na skin ko and wala na eczema and acne, I only use it on my body. I use a gentle and unscented face wash on my face. Wala ng eczema breakouts as long as I stay away from drying soaps, very fragrant soaps and rubbing alcohol.

@@ceceluv5868 Avène Xeracalm Cream yan pa rin po ang lotion ko until today. Nung malala ang eczema ko I use it at least 5 times a day yun ang sabi ng dermatologist na nakagamot sa akin, now use it everytime after I wash my hands (kahit little amount lang kasi ang mahal nung lotion). I stay away from drying soaps (safeguard, etc.), dishwashing soaps, bleach, rubbing alcohol and pati sanitizers with alcohol and fragrance. Ang gamit kong handwash po ay yung unscented dove or kahit anong sensitive skin friendly soap, kung on the go naman at no access sa mga soaps, baby wipes ang kapalit ng rubbing alcohol. Kapag po naghuhugas plato, naglilinis at gumagamit ng bleach at naglalaba gumagamit ako ng dishwashing gloves (meron nabibi na mura sa shoppee yung may garter po na hanggang siko). Hindi na rin po ako gumagamit ng topical steroids (dermovate or elica) kasi hindi po advisable ang matagalang paggamit kasi nasasanay ang balat natin. Kapag po makati, naglolotion lang ako. Grabe po yung dyshidrotic eczema ko noon, hindi ko nagamit ang mga kamay ko ng maayos for a month as in finger tips nalang ang clear from dyshidrosis at hindi makati.

My brother started having pimples a few months before he turned 13. As in, marami talaga na parang pinutakte talaga yung mukha niya. Tapos naalala ko someone I know used Teranex soap dati tapos sabi it worked daw sa kanya so triny rin namin. After 5 mos of using it, oks naman result sa kapatid ko. AS IN, mas less na yung pimples niya now and kumalma na rin. Tapos gamit namin for spot treatment yung bioderm ointment and Aveeno for moisturizer. We're currently working on his pimple marks so pinipilit ko talagang mag-sunscreen siya everyday. Gosh, I wish I could put some pictures here para makita niyo rin yung difference kasi it worked talaga hahaha

Good lord - I do remember not using bar soap or any foaming cleaners back in the day (Clean & Clear, Ponds, Master, Eskinol, etc.) due to breaking out or just having dry and irritated skin post-cleanse. Only Cetaphil/Dove cream bar + warm water and washcloth would work, and Ponds cold cream or baby oil would be used for rare waterproof makeup removal prior to the wash. Then Laneige cleansing oil happened (but too expensive for my college student wallet at the time so had to make do with gifts or samples lol), and now using Heimish cleansing balm religiously - kaya na ng budget ang isang tub for 2-3 months use lol. :) I have yet to find a liquid cleanser for a 2nd cleanse (na I think my skin does not need as I have been using solely Heimish for years now) pero wala talaga ako mahiyangan. It's okay to not double cleanse I think bilang hindi ako makapal mag-makeup and it's just usually sunscreen and mineral powder foundation? Hindi naman ako nagbe-break outs with the current routine so prolly maintain ko na lang yes?

Clinique facial wash is really good it’s fragrance free and removes all acne u can buy it for oily skin or dry skin etc. I use oily skin one. Dr bronners fragrance free body wash soap is also good and removes make up and cheaper. But it can dry skin. If you’re oily skin I recommend it. I need to buy more.

Kojic soap is very effective for me, Marami Ako dating tigyawat at blackhead dati at Nung nagumpisa akong gumamit Ng Kojic, unti unti nawawala ang black heads ko and my oily face is gone. Ang paggamit Ng Kojic ay dapat 10-15 secs lang ang pagpapahid sa face. Mas maganda gawin every night .

I have dyshidrotic eczema ( tiny itchy blisters in clusters on my hands and fingers) when I touch irritants or ingest alcohol or crustaceans. In terms of cosmetics, SkinWhite, Maxi Peel, Koji san and highly fragrant lotions from Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works anger my skin like h*ll. For some reason, Likas Papaya, Dove, Nivea, Jergens (Ultra Healing), and Vaseline calm my skin like heaven.

I've been using Teranex for more than 2 years already since my derma (free online consultation) prescribed it. I get why it was prescribed to me. Tretinoin is strong already so if I pair it with a cleanser that is also strong, baka mairritate na ang skin ko.

Dami ko na din nitry na cleansers, as in mga sikat at recommended dito sa channel. Gave them 1-2 months trial, pero wala eh. Bumalik pa din ako sa papaya soap ng local company dito sa QC. (Derming brand) parang magic eh, pag nag breakout at biglang dry or purge, stop ko na agad yung cleanser na ginagamit ko then switch agad ako sa papaya soap ko, ayun 1-3 days wala na agad yung issues reset agad yung skin ko

Pansin ko rin kung sino marami nilalagay sa mukha sila maraming tagyawat at kung sino ang walang nilalagay sa mukha sila ang clear skin. Ako nag sasabon every other day pero araw araw ako naliligo just water, at mas kita mo ang glow at pagka plump ng skin compared sa araw araw nag sasabon😊

May skin type talaga na malakas ang shield, same kami ng kaibigan mo. I don't have specific skin care products, kung ano ung sabon sa cr un din gamit ko (Bioderm/safeguard). Pero gumagamit ako ng skin moisturizer (nivia men) then ayun lang, akala ng mga co-worker ko may ginagamit ako na mga products.

Very informative 👏 👌... based from experience, hindi rin mabuti kung sunod ng sunod tayo sa mga recommendations ng mga vloggers kasi bawat tao iba ang genetic make up. And that's why some products works for others but on you. Sulfur soap is drying and contains high ph but somehow it works great on some people. In conclusion, skincare is an individual journey. Wag laging gaya gaya sa iba. Know your own skin.

Dati dami ko gamit skin care for my acne. BHA AHA usually korean products na sobrang mahal pero konti lang effect. Lumambot skin ko kaso andun pa din acne so I decided to stop everything. Dove pink nalang ginagamit ko sa mukha and now wala na ko acne. As in, dove pink lang pala yung sagot sa pimples ko. But please, kung gumana sakin di ibig sabihin na gagana din sainyo. Ako sometimes I use the Likas Papaya soap since less ingredients and no fragrance siya, yun nga lang alkaline soap siya sobrang taas ng PH level niya, for Dove naman olay lang pero parang mas lalong nagiging oily ako. Pero yung Likas proven siya sa body nakakatanggal ng body odor tapos herbal soap pa. Tested na.

Currently using tea tree soap from dermskin which my derma reco. And since then ito at ito na ang gngmit ko dhil mas gentle pa sya kesa sa facial wash ko na cosrx. Though inaalternate q ung pag gamit ko ng gel face wash ko and yung tea tree soap. Pag galing labas or nag makeup, don ako sa facial wash q na with salicylic acid. If bahay lng and just a normal day, teatree soap ako. Nahiyang aq and nagstock tlga ako mdme kc mas mura sa derma kesa sa labas bbli haha
