Such an amazing abundance of wildlife! And a stressful environment for prey animals such as giraffes with all the lions about. Those cute lion cubs have got to eat and mom is on the hunt. And that is the way of the wild. As a human, I would definitely feel more safe in a fortress-like lodge such as Onguma--lol. I shall miss Nimibia--so beautifully presented to us by our master filmographer, Dr LTE. It's been a grand experience and it's nice to know I can re-visit any time I want to :)
@Saki6302 жыл бұрын
as a senior giraffe, i take offense to your comments and wish the humans could feel my existential fears every minute of there lives so that they may live it as if it were there last. So much time is wasted by those who are privileged enough to think they have more of it.
@6falconsue2 жыл бұрын
@@Saki630 I love giraffes and it grieves me that they live in fear. And sharing their space with lions means giraffes and other animals are in constant danger, especially the little ones. I most certainly did not mean to offend you :(

Ok, this might be a very stupid question. What keeps lions from jumping on the deck of that pool and eating you? I'll fully admit to camping in places where predators live but I also have bear spray (pepper spray) and my Smith and Wesson. You would think the liability would be high on that. I mean, as they say, it all fun and games until someone gets hurt!

These places look lovely but way under utilised. I like my place to have a bit of life; not feel as if all eyes are on me which is what I would feel in a deserted hotel. I’m not saying I want 100 rooms but maybe 30-40 so there’s a wider range of people and at night the bar and restaurant feel alive with chatter. Places with 10 rooms leave me cold.
