Abandoned Castle is lowkey one of the best Michiru Yamane tracks in the Castlevania series. It's just so fucking punchy, and that Fugue-style guitar riff breakdown after the 2nd verse, HOLY SHIT

@@joadore2479 ngl super lame that Hector's one single victory as a character was in service of giving Isaac an even bigger one. Isaac already had tons of cool and great moments in previous seasons, Hector didn't get even a single one just for himself. And Isaac was gonna win either way, Hector's intervention just made it easier.

@@rogerarteaga2665 I'd say the best 3d one when it comes down to strategy, a lot of foes can either kill you in 1-2 hits or stun/poison you. This is the first castlevania games where you actually need the help of the companions(for an example, castlevania symphony of the night has a sword,devil/imp,fairy,pixie, ghost. Which you can most definitely beat the game without them) to help you get through some parts of the game. The way you get weapons in this game has to be the best in the series , letting you make the weapons from materials you get from defeating enemies and also the steal system.

Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness seem to get a bad rap as 3D PS2 Castlevania games, but I always liked them. Also, they both had a sweet soundtrack. I'm proud to say I own a copy of each game.

My brother liked this one much more than I did. I think I still have it in my collection, but I doubt I'll ever rectify the fact that I never completed this game. Nevertheless, great job on this RECAP like always. The alliteration wasn't quite as noticeable as before (As this was the intent, I won't point out which ones I noticed), but I kept smiling every time I hear them within your storytelling voice. :D I love this RECAP, even though I don't love the game, and thank you for keeping this up. Zero Time Dilemma promises to be more awesome. I'll meet you on the next battlefield.

In the prologue we find out that Isaac had Rosalie accused as a witch and killed. Doing this either intentionally or inadvertently protected Julia. When he sees Julia halfway through the game I wonder if he feels a bit of remorse for what he did?

Hector's wife Lorraine is a vampire. ✓ Issac and Hector are forge masters who didn't get along (at first). ✓ Hector "betrays" Dracula. ✓ Creepy guy was Death all along. ✓ Subplot involving resurrecting Dracula. ✓ Trevor Belmont returns. ✓ Overall, though I prefer how these events were interpreted in the anime.
