Onion Pork Chop Delight, a Little Shopping and More

ONION PORK CHOP DELIGHT
1 cup dry uncooked rice
4 to 5 pork chops
Seasoning per your preference
2 cans of French Onion Soup
Preheat oven to 350°
Pour rice in bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Layer with seasoned pork chops. Pour soups over top. Wrap dish tightly with tin foil. Bake for 1 hour. Remove tin foil and brown if needed (mine did not need browning)

A little FYI...you should always wash newly bought clothing and linens (towels etc...) before using or wearing because they are treated with formaldehyde to kill any insects or moths that infest cargo containers etc... during delivery. I know...yuck! On a happy note...I can't wait to try those chops!

Hey Leslie. I made a dish kind of like that for years. I would put rice in pan and add chopped bell pepper and onions then lay chicken or pork chops on top of rice, salt and pepper and whatever seasonings I wanted and then cover it all with cream mushroom soup. It was always a big hit too. And so simple. ❤️

That sounds so good! My family's favorite was pork chops/steaks, grilled onions & cream iof mushroom soup poured over hominy, covered tightly & baked slowly. My grandkids like it better with rice, though. I'll try the French onion soup next time! (I got the recioe in the 70s from a Hawaiian friend.)

I love pork. I have Apropos sport skimmer. They are comfortable, stylish, and beautiful limited fabrics. They are very affordable compared to my other favorite brand Softstar Shoes. They aren't stylish but super comfortable as they are shaped like a foot. I prefer roomy toe boxes. In Apropos your toe isn't supposed to go in the narrower part of the front.

Yes, the French Onion Soup in a can is condensed and normally, needs one can of water, if making it stovetop, as an actual soup to eat. Not sure about adding water... but I would definately Not add in the extra salt, as canned soup has a lot of salt in it...I would use Italian Seasoning, no salt seasonings...and you can always adjust the taste, after it comes out of the oven.

I really believe that is the reason I just cannot get a grip on now being a widow!😢😢 Literally, at least half of ME is gone! His death has just about done me in!! My soul is missing the best part of me!! Now, I am finding out the hard way, that being dependant on one's OTHER HALF is just not good for so many reasons. I will not go anywhere by myself, except the doctor's office. Only because I have to, of course! I order everything online and have my stuff either delivered or shipped to my door!
