当初はアイコンモデルは履いている人が多すぎるかなと敬遠していた。
しかし、これだけカラーバリエーションもあり、細身のレザーと
いうことを考えると選ばないのも勿体ない。
ブラックにホワイトのストライプというとてもシンプルなカラーの
ノーマルモデルとSDモデルを比較していました。
At first, I was hesitant to wear the iconic model,
thinking that too many people would be wearing them.
However, with such a wide variety of colors and slim leather
I was not sure if I would be able to choose the right one.
I compared the SD model with the very simple color of black with white stripes.

Literally can feel the curves and bumps of the ground with these. Ortholite insoles are superb and give enough cushioning and feel. SL72's from Adidas is it's closest competition as both are running shoes of their eras.

Thanks for your comment, The Adidas SL72 was recently released, but it was terribly popular and I couldn't afford it either. I like the simple shape of this era.

I recently got a pair of regular Mexico 66 because it’s frequently mentioned as a good sneaker for driving and I want it when I am in the car. I am sure the SD is better for long walking but I didn’t get the SD version because I afraid the thicker sole would not be the same as the thin sole in regular 66 (which is important for driver to feel the pedal)

Thank you for your comment. You are using it for a drive. Honestly, though, the sole thickness doesn't change that much with SD.

Good vid but why did you size up to US10 from US9.5 in the Mexico66 SD? Did it fit better or is it mostly aesthetics like you mentioned in the video? I am the same size as you in your videos and wondering if i should half size up as well. Dont know if the white blue/red will look like clown shoes on me if i half size up to US10

Thank you for your comment. To put it simply, it's hard to find black SD in Japan right now, and the only size that was available was US10, and when I tried them on, I was able to wear them without that much discomfort, so I just chose them.

So I also notice the Stitching that goes from the back part that makes a X that goes fo the strip varies if it’s low or goes downward ? Doesn’t have to specifically be only in one pattern ?

The X stitching is probably meant to reinforce the design, but it may also be an excellent design feature.

@@SlasherGuyy1 I think they are worth it! I don't wear them that much because there are so many of them, but the leather doesn't seem to stretch out, and if you're worried about it, you might want to store them with shoe trees in them!

I do have one pair of leather sneakers I bought in meixco , plus other shoes ( not sneakers ) that did stretch out in the ankle part a little after a while of wearing , but from what you telll me seems these don’t which is perfect ! & I think I might do that as well , I ordered a pair jsut half size bigger & that’s why I ask this sicne I have little room in the back but was worried if maybe long term it would get looser in the area

ノーマルの方の爪先のスウェードは汚れ目立ちますか？あとわたしが持っているパンツの丈に合うかどうか気になるんですが、コンバースと比べてSDのソールの高さは低いでしょうか？

コメントありがとうございます。まあ、これだけ靴があるので、まだ汚れるまで履いていないというのが答えになってしまうのですが、防水スプレーをかけて、ブラッシングすれば問題ないと思います。ソールは正直低いです。ただ、コンバースと比べて1センチの違いもないと思います。

あの足の周りに薄手の革をまとう感覚、靴ではなくて皮膚ですね。 履き始めでヒールを引っ張るベロが千切れたことがあるけどご愛嬌。 しかしonitukaはシューレースだけ販売しないよね。

皮膚って表現が面白いです。日本人のルーツの地下足袋が少しは影響しているんですかね。私はBilly’sで売っているシューレースで対応してしまいます。

Although it depends on the individual, it is even slimmer than the Puma, so going up a half or one size is not a problem.

I haven't compared the boxes, so I can't say for sure, but I think Onitsuka Tiger sells better overseas than in Japan.

クッショニングはSDですが、疲れという意味ではそんなに変わらないかな。まあ、年齢的なものもありますけど笑　革靴は26cｍ、ニューバランス＆アシックスは27cm、アディダス、プーマ、オニツカは27.5cmが多いです。

Las sambas normalmente se extienden cuando se llevan puestas, pero éstas son mucho más estrechas y tienen una forma que aprieta los cordones. La amortiguación es bastante diferente.
