ブランドの一番の定番モデルというのは履いている人が多すぎて敬遠してしまうが、
やはり売れているシューズには理由があるということをアディダスのスタンスミスで実感。
恐らくオニツカタイガーの定番と言えば誰もがこの「MEXICO 66」を選ぶであろう。
そういえば、シティーシリーズではないが、都市名が入った日本ブランドの
シューズと言えば、まさにこれではないかと！
トレーニングシューズなので、形はクラシック、細身で軽量だが、本革仕様。
スタッフさんのおススメで履き心地を追求したSDモデルでカラーは自分で選びました。

when it comes to Onitsuka Tiger's classic.
Come to think of it, although it is not part of the City Series,
it is a Japanese brand with the name of a city on it.
Since they are training shoes, the shape is classic,
slim and lightweight, but with genuine leather.
I chose the color myself with the SD model,
which was recommended by the staff for its comfort.

A real classics shoe. My favorite might be the white SD PF in the white colorway. I have not bought it yet because they seemed to raise the price here in the U.S by $20. I remember it cost $10 less than the high top version, now it cost $10 more lol. I may wait for a sale. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for your comment. In Japan, the difference between regular and SD would be about $15 in today's currency. In Japan, I don't see many Onitsuka Tiger sales.

@@tumbleweed6906 oh wow! The prices are so high now... 140€ for classic, 190€ to 210€ for SD and 350-400 for nippon made. Did they raise the prices in Japan too?

agree its a classic and have a few collections. But disappointed by leather quality and even the shoe lace snap after few months. Quite surprise!

Fit is very good, but it is slim, so you might want to go up a half size.

コメントありがとうございます。一番は表参道店のお姉さんスタッフの推しということですが、踵部分のクッション性ですね。見た目のシンプルさは通常、けっこう歩いたり、立ち仕事だったりはSDが良いかも知れません。

Does it normal when the leather around the stripes has many wrinkles on it? I just bought it few days ago and I never put it on my feet (when I unbox the shoe for the first time, the leather has many wrinkles).

Yes, wrinkles may be noticeable from the start, partly because the leather is quite soft to begin with. That does not mean that the quality is poor, so you do not need to worry about it.

The safe bet is black or something like that, but green and red in Mexican colors are also good.
