Dear Ajith, EPF is a Government Portal. So, all government portals works efficiently on Internet Explorer only. So, use only Internet Explorer or else Mozilla, Chrome will not work effectively....

The portal is not working. In the last step you have to give OTP for submitting. It crashes and gives error like OTP limit reached. When i didn't request for multiple otp. I don't know how people eat food in government jobs. Because of small mistake it has been almost 3 years I have been trying to correct it. Everytime some or other issue. You write to them, call them, they don't care. Almost a year went since they stopped joint declaration offline. And then as well they rejected applications without any reason and if we ask them they say contact your company. That one small mistake also was because of their own portals glitch

Dear Sohan, I completely understand your problem. There are many glitches in the portal, and we need to keep trying. You please try in Internet Explorer ONLY, and try to clear the cookies, and try it one more time. Yes, they stopped accepting all the application offline from last 6-7 months. Everything happens through online only. Try now, if there is any issue, you can take a screenshot, and drop email to me. I will try to help you....

Sir i am an employer and one of employee filed a joint declaration request to change his father name from the member portal. So for the approval, i have uploaded his pan card. Is that enough or should i also submit his appointment letter?

Dear Nihal, When you approve the details in the portal, the portal itself will display the list of documents to be uploaded, accordingly you need to upload, and approve the same. For any clarifications, please let me know....

Dear Priyanka, Better you take a print out of the screenshot, that your employer has approved it, and still pending from Fiend Office since last six months, and write a letter to the PF Field Officer, and visit the branch, and talk to the Grievance Cell in PF Office, they will resolve the issue....

I got the offer letter from one company I didn't even joined the company but yhe company has updated my date of joining and date of exit but now that company is closed so In the next year I got some other job worked for three years the issue is date of ending is collapsing with the first company due to this reason I lost my job please help me to correct the Date of ending of the first company

Dear Manoj, You can approach the EPF Office for change of EPF Joining & Exit Date or else, you can make changes to the date of joining and exit, and ask your employer to approve it. These are the only 2 options you have.

Dear Krishna Yadav, Normally it takes 7-10 working days. If still the field officer has not approved, then better take a print out of the document, and go to EPF Office, and get it approved physically....

Dear Ajay, Documents are different for different change requests. If you want to change the DOJ, then offer letter is mandatory or else you can ask for a letter from HR about your joining date, which will also be sufficient....
