Some more case of ignorant incident. 2-3 months back two dude from tuensang ( they claimed themselves to be so) came to printing hub(4th mile). With same case buying scooty, the hub owner (an Ao) was trying really hard to convince them that it's most probably a scam or fraudsters, but they (victims )were reluctant... And were trying to prove the hub owners otherwise .. Some Weeks back heard from the same hub owner those scooty buyers have already paid 18000 or 28000₹ and no sign from the sellers, so came to ask help regarding filing FIR. I mean I feel sad for them but I'm not as well.... They had been warned they made their choice. Some people have to learn the hard way way I guess.

The same thing happened to me 2 years ago. The fraudster was trying to scam me on selling off his used car with big discount due to his transfer. In case if this scammer asked me to give 2000 ₹ for bringing bike then I would tell him in return that forget about ₹ 2000 you just bring the bike with your own cost and after reaching I will give you double the price you are asking, 25000 + 25000 = 50000.

I encountered a few of the scammers as well. Pretending to be an army, sending me their IDs, adhar card pictures, saying they got transferred into other state and selling the products/ materials at a very cheap price. Scooty was selling in just Rs.15000/- etc. But the moment they started sending me their IDs and all upon my first enquiry to their advertisement, i knew it was the scammer/fake. No genuine person would start sending their IDs, full details in the first move.
