Thank you for your kind words. I booked train ticket from Eurostar because the tickets are flexible to change and less hassle than flight. Secondly I did reservation in a hotel Bt I did it pay instantly. It had a option to go and pay. And free cancellation before 7 days. So you can do the same. I have the cover letter mentioning all the itineraries You need to show them your tickets and accommodation proof

I preferred Eurostar train to visit from London to Paris more easy and hassle free. A bit expensive then flight but for me train was better option. Hotel booking I choose booking.com and use the filter as per your preference. I hope this will help you.

1. You won’t be able to complete the tls form without the France visa form. So you have to fill the France visa form as well. 2. When you are filling the application you have to mention the date of your flight ticket. So keep atleast 2 months in hand and mention the date. But your flight date and the date you gave mention should match.

Did you not selected the preferred location before starting the application It usually doesn’t happen liked this that they change location If you reschedule still it will not give you option to change location Kindly contact tls office

First of all, your Europe travel is nothing to do with your fees instalment. Secondly you can travel to Europe from uk on Schengen visa during Christmas time as it’s a holiday period so within that timeframe you can travel. Just ask for a no objection letter from university. It’s easy to get and universities generally give that.

Hi Gulen, Sorry for the language barrier but bit difficult to make videos in two different languages. Hope you understand. I know taking the dates for biometric is not easy, I got the booking in prime time Try to login everyday in morning around 8-8.30 and check do you get prime time allotment. It will cost you 50 pounds more and need to pay on the day of biometric. Now a days booking is close as well because of continuous strike in France. All the best keep trying if possible call TLS London office in the morning

You can mention it in your cover letter as your itinerary. Where are you travelling and mention the name of the hotels or place you will stay. But stay more nights in France orelse they won’t take it. For example if your going for 14 days then try to show more nights like 9 nights in France and reaming in other places.

You can write a cover letter and mention the itinerary stating as Day1- coming to Paris stating at hotel….. Day 2- visiting local sight seeing or etc… Day 3 and so on This is how you can show your itinerary.

@@user-ys5og9ct9e yes they will send you an email stating that you need to collect the passport from TLS office or if you have chosen by post option then they will give you a tracking ID of royal mail to track your passport. Keep checking the TLS website regularly as well. It usually take one month to get back the passport.

Hi Pooja, Please I urgently need your help....my husband applied for a France short term visa...it was our Christmas and New Year vacation....VFS appointment completed and all documents including passport were submitted....we got an email from the VFS Centre saying that the France Consulate have now received the visa application and it's in process at the France consulate....that was on the 24 December 2023....it's been 1 month and 1 day no reply....our flights were supposed to be on the 10th January 2024....please how long do we have to wait as we are both on leave...I understand I don't need a France visa as I'm a New Zealander but my partner is afghani....please can you help us. I totally understand your situation Usually they say 15 working days for the visa But it takes around 4-6 weeks to come. It depends for different people I have seen people getting g visa in five days and someone like more than a month. As keep tracking your application There is nt much that you can do You can give a try to call the tls office once.

First question you said you Got the student graduate visa and you are a UK citizen which i did Not understand. When we are on psw we get brp that’s your residence permit card so you become resident of uk So you need to mark that Second you need to do your booking for hotel and train or flight before because when you will fill the form you have to give those details So you are applying for France so it’s good that you will stay in France for 10 days and it won’t affect anything. It’s not imp that you have to go to different countries. If you plan to visit other place keep in mind that first time travelling you need to stay more number of days in France For Ex if your trip is for 10 days and you plan to go Germany as well then you stay like 7 days in France and 3 days in Germany .

In visa form just mention the date you are travelling to Paris and hotel booking. If you are travelling to different places like Belgium or Switzerland then mentioned that in the form where it will ask other places to visit. When you will attach the cover letter mention all the itineraries clearly with date and hotels in that. Attach all tickets and hotel reservations. Kindly remember if you have applied for France visa you have to stay more number days in France than other places. Like if your trip is for 10 days so stay in France for 6 days and other 4 days diff places. I hope it will help you

Yes you need to book the flight tickets and accommodation because in the form you have to fill the details of your hotel mentioning it’s address email I’d and phn number. So it’s important. Try to book those hotels where you have cancellations policy because you might not get the biometric dates and then you need to change the dates.

Now it's almost like impossible to get an appointment. Can you suggest any legitimate travel agencies in London, who can help with all the processing? And one angecy is saying about TLS mobile biometric, which they can do in there office, and the charge is £250! I'm a bit confused.

No don’t pay money to anyone. It can be fraud. Keep checking the tls website every morning 8-10 am. If you are lucky you can get the appointment in prime time. I got in the same way. I won’t suggest you to give money to anyone.

Hello Ma'am, I got an appointment for France from UK on 5th May. But I filled out the visa form mentioning the intended arrival on 1st May because I never thought I had to wait for so long to get the slot. Now, I need to fill up the application form again at the France visa website but that means the TLS reference number would be different from my France visa form. What to do in this situation? I already paid the TLS service fee. Please help

Yes you need to fill the form again but don’t worry reference number will not change just take the print out of tls one and the France application form.

It’s ok if you go to different country but always have a backup to show on immigration if they ask. I did the same but they didn’t usually ask anything to me.

@@SHIVAM-wj3xt backup means I applied for France visa but I went to Belgium. During immigration they didn’t ask me anything but I was having train ticket for Paris for another date as I was planning to go Belgium first then Paris. So if they would have ask me why u are going to Belgium first instead of France so I was ready to show my plan that I am visiting France later. But honestly they don’t ask anything so I think you will be fine. So first you have created account in France visa Then you create an account in tls website choose the location and then continue your application. I think it’s quite simple just check once again. Fill the form properly

Hi Puja, I have booked my appointment with French Consulate for early next week. And accordingly have make the documents ready including Travel Tickets & Accommodation letter. I am planning a visit to Germany as well within a gap of 45 days from France Trip. Accordingly, I have prepared Covering Letter mentioning both the trips (with itinerary). For Germany I have booked the accommodation however yet to book travel. Query: What to do for Travel tickets for Germany. Should I show the Dummy tickets for Germany or should I book actual tickets? If dummy then which website should use. Are dummy tickets valid for VISA. Thanks in advance. Note : As Germany trip is 4-5 months ahead, considering uncertainties I haven’t booked my Travel Tickets yet ( a family trip)

Don’t show anything about Germany Just show them recent travel to France and in the cover letter only show the itinerary for France.

@@pujasinghlondon4106 Hey Puja, Many thanks for your video and assistance ( response to my queries). I got my Visa within 6 days and got it for 6 months, multi entry. I would like to highlight one experience, which you can use / share with others while responding to their queries: Ideally we should take our photos in the required format. Even Though there is a photo booth available in TLS office, however the queue at Photo booth was thrice longer that the queue for VISA.. maybe it majority of ppl wouldn't have got the photos and hence the queue.. however carrying photos helped us in getting visa application + biometric completed within 45 mins ( from entry to TLS office till Exit).

Yes you need to fill two different application form one for yourself and one for your wife. There is no such option of adding a new applicant in the France visa apply individually
