I have been teaching for years at a university and need to go out on my own. Although I always get excellent evaluations and often a waiting list of students, I do not feel I am doing what I should be doing because of the restrictions in place for consistency. You helped me more than you will ever know. You made the information concise, direct and informative. You answered my problems on what to do as an independent online instructor. I was having problems with instructional design-what, where and how. At the university, I was given a course in a box to teach after the 1st couple years. That stifled my ability to be creative and tied my hands behind by back so to speak. It actually limited my own knowledge of subject matter I began teaching with. If you do not use it, you will lose it. I can see the way out of this repetitive cycle and be a more effective instructor with my own students outside of the university. I only began watching 2 of your videos today and I will certainly watch more. Thank you so much!!!!
