Online TEFL Certification | adding practicum hours | teaching ESL in China

The process of getting everything in order to teach in Asia is confusing. Im almost finished with it so I wanted to share a series with you guys on how it all works. Today I'm talking about the TEFL part of the equation. What is TEFL? Should you take an online course? And how to pick one you feel confident isn't a scam.

@@globalvagrant1392 Thailand if I can manage it. If not, probably Latin America somewhere if it is easier to get a job there. They seem to be less restrictive at the moment regarding the virus. I'm currently enrolled in ITA.

Hello! I have a question. I’m interested in getting my certification, but not sure how to apply to different schools or even where to apply. Any advice?

Hey! The tefl site you use to get your certification will probably have a jobs section of their services. I applied for a bunch through just googling English teaching jobs in Taiwan, and I was getting a lot of results. Unfortunately its not possible to get into Taiwan at the moment. If you know anyone in the country you want to visit, they could be a great resource.
