Good to see you're still there, man. Life choices have got me distant from my bass playing, time to prepare a comeback. And quite an interesting suggestion of yours. I've never thought how singing would help, maybe I'll restart with that.

I am "self taught" Although I consider myself an anomaly. I had a few mentors early on though, they really helped me understand. So nobody really learns on their own. Although I did teach myself to read music by 14 years old. I was OBSESSED. Still am. Great video!! I appreciate what you are doing!

I just wish i got an earlier start....I wanted to play an instrument my entire life, but due to various factors it was always out of reach. I bought my first bass at 18 with my second paycheck taught myself to play, its been 14 years since and I'm already at the first step, I really want a personal teacher.
