It's a 20w bulb.

@@rompdude Will not be 20w at 12volt battery after those mods. For sure the modified driver circuit will be hugely inefficient.

@@steveng5503 don't forget inefficiency = heat. Without some way of dissipating that heat, it's going to stop working pretty dam quick. Can't imagine it being more that a couple watts different.

@@rompdude No, I don’t forget. If I had the current and voltage at battery when underload I could then calculate the amount of inductance that’s created at the coil, hence then understanding efficiency and maybe able to improve on the circuit. I could build the exact circuit to test. Difficultly then, for us in UK our electrical system is 248v just now and the CFL used in video I’m guessing is rated at 120v at possibly 20w. I don’t usually comment, just would like to know the voltage and current at the battery underload?
