It was intended to be the show's final episode. In this episode, the Trotters became millionaires and, after years of selling dubious goods in all kinds of weather, could finally enjoy a luxurious lifestyle, at least for the next five years. At the time of its broadcast, it was expected to be the last episode ever, but the show returned five years later due to popular demand. "Time on Our Hands" was watched by an impressive 24.1 million viewers.
