Thank you. The trouble comes from the colonizers, outsiders and invaders that want to control the longest coast line, resources and oil. Just like Congo, rest of rich African countries. Somalia has ancient history look up the land of punt during ancient Egyptian times. Eventhough, colonization and Trans Saharan aka Sub-Saharan Slave Trade cost a lot of trauma in East Africa it's not talked about in West In particular, the their media always lie about 🇸🇴 . If there were no resources, or strategic coast line to exploit there would be no troubles.

I watch several bloggers and they all bring interesting and educational contents, but this blogger, African Tigress, is the best. Her enthusiasm, the way she interact with the locals, learns about what she is seeing and doing and explains. The sheer joy in which she jumps into the culture of the country makes it joyful just to watch. I only found her blog during the Trinidad 2024 carnival and I am hooked. Fan for life no matter were she goes! Hope to see you covering the 2024 Emancipation celebration in Trinidad.

Now that you have enjoyed some of TT great attractions, there is one more you MUST introduce yourself to, and this coming from a Jamaican. I'm talking about CALYPSO music, you really must. If you really want to smile and laugh even, you must listen to social and political commentary in music, that would get performers locked up in many parts of Africa, or worse. Gabby's 'Government Boots', is biting criticism of the government of Barbados in the 1970's. Yes I'm an elder, who values Calypso over Soca. But if you want a wide range of raunchiness, then you must listen to Mighty Sparrow. Start with his 'Lying Excuses", followed by 'Obeah Wedding', plus a whole lot more. Trinis will guide you. Enjoy.
