Then Li Ming came into his life and brought with him hope, Li Ming gave him understanding and Heart saw how another person did care about him, how another person made the effort of learning sign language, when his parents in three years didn’t learn a thing and the mother just gave him notes after notes as a way of “communicating” and the notes were so many reflecting the years he was neglected. Heart broke down and I know this is the first time in 3 years that he lets himself go and cries like that, leaning on the shoulder of the only person who saw him as someone normal, not as a disability or a burden, the only person he lets seeing him when he is at his lowest and that hug was what he needed, the solace, the comfort he has been craving in a world where he felt alone. He felt so comfortable with Li Ming that he talked again, and the way Li Ming happily reacted made him see once again that he cared about him 🥺

I watched episode 6 today, and I think they did a subtle nod to Heart's deafness. In one scene with the two boys there was very soft background music, but there was no background noises, as if we were seeing it fron Heart's perspective. I could be imagining things, but that is how it seemed to me. (Scene in LiMing's house)

The one need to be shamed only Heart's parents, they didn't know any sign language and their son deaf 3 years. Liming took care of Heart, understood him, believed Heart deserve the good thing in this world, he didn't discriminate Heart even in the beginning. He told his uncle he will take responsibility to take Heart out, I didn't feel any childish here, he is growing more than his uncle can imagine, his love for Heart made him mature and stronger, he didn't step back a little, even they pressured him, bc he knew what is good for Heart, and his only wish is Heart happiness.

Heart was tired of Li Ming being blamed for thing she wanted to stand up for the only friend he has..Li Ming is also alone I think ppl don't see that because he has uncle and the ppl at the chicken stan dor the few boys at school but if you watch closely he isn't open with them like he is with heart and everyone else is always focused on themselves. Heart is a safe escape for Li Ming . They have a bond that is beyond friends or "ship" they just understand each other when no one else bothers to understand or even try to communicate with them . Today's episode was beautiful I liked the talk between hearts mom and Li Ming . I like that she isn't going to continue to punish Li Ming and is allowing him to still apart.of heart life. And props to Li Ming for explaining things to her in a respectful and polite way ( I think Wen is a good adult in his life and taught him to be calmer when talking to older ppl) . Yeah, the fact that their son has been deaf for 3 years and yet they have to ask the guy who's only known Heart for a few months and yet has learnt enough sign that he can talk to Heart to translate because they didn't bother learning it, meaning he can only communicate with them by writing it down, if they even bothered to wait around long enough while he wrote is just wrong on so many levels. And yet they act as if everything they do is *for* Heart when I highly doubt they've ever bothered to *ask* him what he's wanted in the past 3 years and that is just tragically sad for Heart. Though I still don't know why they have Heart not just speaking when, as it's been mentioned, he's deaf not mute and he's only been deaf for 3 years which means he could hear and speak for 15 years *before* his accident so...? Just dramatic storytelling to highlight bad parenting I guess..? Though I suppose they could justify it by saying the trauma has rendered him mute (like Name in Remember Me).
