them getting love interests kind of distracts from the show. it feels like it derails the episodes rather than add to the story. I dont think Meryl Streep is the murderer, or they may pull a murder on the orient express this season

I think the brother is behind this, Dickie. I think The album Loretta had was not her following Ben but actually following Dickie, like a proud mom wanting keepsakes from her child. 🤯 given the way Ben mistreats his brother that would explain the hatred Loretta has for Ben, but I don't think she actually killed him. Dickie did after being enraged of how Ben attacked his mother (Loretta ) on opening night.

Whats been interesting about Oliver is that in Season 1, when we are first introduced to Oliver he says his passion is "his grandchildren" and we havent really seen any of that since.

Tobert, he has the most to gain from Ben’s death, and he is trying too hard to direct and deflect Mabel to suspect others. Tobert is trying too hard, it is very suspicious! Tobert is keeping his enemies closer by seducing Mabel.

I think we’re looking for two separate killers. I think someone tried to poison ben somehow, and then somebody else pushed him down the elevator shaft, either on purpose or by accident. I’m also dead serious on Dickie being one of the culprits. Edit: what if it was ben who wrote fucking pig on his own mirror? Everyone always mentions how hard on himself he was, so what if what Loretta said got to him?

I wasn't crazy about this episode. I hate the trio breaking up. This is what makes this show. I do think that photo album was planted by Dicky.

Thanks for making these videos, they're great. I think everyone in the Death Rattle production had a part to play in Ben's death. They each did something, which on its own wouldn't kill Ben, but when combined in the coincidental sequence that they all happened, ultimately ended up killing Ben. A bit like a Final Destination film. I also think that Loretta is Ben's biological mother hence the scrapbook. She said she'd done something she couldn't be forgiven for, perhaps it was giving up a child to pursue an acting career?

I do think the group will come together in the end but by then too much time has past. This season is off course. Really loved the original concept. This wasn't a funny episode accept maybe parts of Charles scenes. Howard's weren't funny per say but they wee good.

I’m not really liking this season so far :( it feels so different and not in a good way. With season 1 and 2, I really wanted to keep watching and loved every episode. Funny, but still thrilling at the same time. This season so far hasn’t been either funny or too thrilling imho:/

It's literally a mystery series. And the previous seasons did fantastic relationship exploration while also giving us a fantastic murder mystery.

This season is by far the worst. I havnt felt that trio connection that us fans come to absolutely adore in seasons 1 and 2. I actually find their individual stories to be so bland, boring and poorly written. I really hope they re establish that connection. Because so far this season I must say totally sucks

This episode was absolutely just a filler - doesn't give any new perspective on who's the killer, nothing about new clues, completely pointless and not at all funny - i think it's the weakest ep from the start of the show

The exterior part of the theater that they show for the Gooseberry Theater is actually The United Palace Theater in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan in New York City. I should know because I had lived 4 blocks from it for many years before I moved a several blocks further up the street in the neighborhood. Just so you know (in case you are curious) they obviously digitally altered the skyline to make it look like it is located closer to Time Square. That exact Broadway street you see when they show the outer part of the Gooseberry in actuality does not have any buildings taller than 6 floors. They are all pre-war buildings. No skyscrapers along that street on the Broadway side of the United Palace Theater. 🎭🏢🗽

I think the old director hiding out is the killer and he's going after Loretta next. He's mad he was fired by Donna to originally direct this play. He wants it shut down. He's also screwing with Oliver as he got the directing role.

Aside from the numerous easter eggs that were shown hidden within this episode, the physical piece of clue that I found interesting was the script KT was highlighting and then shredded. There was an Extra Line that was not there the day of the table reading in the very first episode of this season. After Ben says his opening line at the beginning of the play he says a new sentence before he meets with the Nanny. "But here's the thing. I had no idea that I would leave that blasted rock more dead than alive." During the table read in the first episode Ben's stage character doesn't say that just before the Nanny makes her appearance. That was made very clear because of Loretta's bad table reading mistakes. During the table read the lines were read 3 times and those extra sentences in that opening monolog was never uttered by Ben. 😮🎭📑🔍🤔🕵‍♀️

I think KT might've poisoned Ben initially (he made a comment in episode 1 about accusing her of stealing his mangoes - maybe they were poisoned?) and I feel like Dickie might've been the one who pushed him down the elevator shaft

I wouldn’t say this eppy does not bring us closer to Ben’s murderer. I like the ‘low point/break up episodes where people say the unspeakable. Whenever a group breaks up, they move towards toxic or dangeous people and have to be saved. It’s tempting to say that Oliver’s choosing Loretta means she may be the killer, like Charles, but it may not be that simple. One of them will prob choose to be with the killer, so that may eliminate Dickie. Oliver should have asked WHY the other director was fired. I think he was set up to fail but will succeed with a demon like Loretta. Was that a hit list written on her stationery? Does anyone else get ‘gay’ vibes off Dickie? Could he have been in love with Ben?

btw, i noticed 1 baby doll in jerry's room Loretta and Ben fight was interesting as they met first time at reading session if Loretta said Ben was gay, then between dicky or tobert as the real partner of him Probably Ben first death on stage as his and partner plans, or his twins/triplets and... that book, probably Dicky sleep there or stay to have conversation with Loretta, he put in book shelf and forget to hide it, or something, maybe he grow up there 1 thing to remember, after mabel met charles with fogging smoke, tobert went away to somewhere we don't know. 3 episodes left, what's gonna surprise us, again?

This was the worst episode of the show so far. This whole season seems kinda empty. Selena Gomez's acting was off this episode. I hope they get back on track and deliver in the next weeks. The season is almost over and there's a lot to left to be desired.

This episode was terribly disappointing, mostly boring filler. And it breaks up the protagonists. Uggh. This season has been quite awful. And only two episodes left. The revelation will be disappointing.
