Probably because that's a weird and arbitrary restriction to have in the first place? Theres no reason they shouldnt have checkpoints, at the very least the stuff like "dont take damage" and "dont jump" should have checkpoints

Conmattang i agree with the no damage one but with all of the other ones I agree with Nintendo. My reason is because you can put enemies, coins, p switches, etc. before checkpoints. And for the no jump clear condition you could make it so you can get the checkpoint but when re-spawn you fall and immediately lose.
