YOOO I was just made aware of this video!! This is so cool! Honestly I'm surprised so many people actually like my dubious experiments on slug children. This was super entertaining to watch! And yes, no matter what, it seems that slugpups refuse to fight scavengers even when they are actively being killed by them. I'm currently in the process of engineering a custom region specifically for continuous slugpup experiments so that the pups can actually learn from their experiences....

Howdy batflight! When you say making a custom region, does that mean that the pups won’t get de/respawned between experiments to try to make them learn? Is there a way to even do that? Either way, that sounds super awesome! Keep up the great work! Also RIP the scav spup experiments, no wonder Arti hates scavs (though I do wonder why the spups don’t interact at all outside of getting themselves skewered, maybe it’s one of those weird interaction coding things, like how most creatures run from Rot cysts?)

The better pup ai mod is most likely the cause of the pups constantly preferring climbing and staying on top of poles, I have experienced similar things with that mod on.

17:11 so fun fact about dropwings, they only really agro on one thing; whatever they tried to ambush. They won't agro anything until they enter stealth mode and try to ambush, so if they move spots they won't attack anything during this time. But yeah in this case here, Dropwing ignore everything until in ambush stance and tried to attack the first viable target

I’m not sure that’s true, dropwigs have used pounce when I was playing as Arti (and I think Gourmand too?) after they exited pipes or dens without going into ambush mode. They also were never aggravated by me beforehand.

Hi all! I watched the video from another account, if anything... And you know? It seems to me that if the game could truly implement real artificial intelligence of slugpups, then they would all fight together and at the same time, and even though they might not respect each other, as in the case of the corpse, they would still put survival above. I don't think slugcats are that smart, do that many cool things, and end up taking the kittens with them instead of killing, eating, and sexually abusing the body as it would be in nature, if they were truly the most ordinary animals, but at the same time they do not work together. I think this simply cannot be, and I would really like to see their teamwork!
