This reminds me being convinced that for the base set chase cards were only pulled from the artwork of the starter they were disadvantaged from, so Charizard from Blastoise packs, etc. On my birthday, my dad went to Bestbuy for something, and he bought me a single pack, so I chose a Venusaur pack hoping for Blastoise, and it happened, pulled my favorite pokemon, from a single pack, on my birthday, it was so awesome🤯

Just want to say, you inspired me to collect master sets. And I do it the way you do, by literally searching on different local stores that I could think of because I want to pull the cards myself. It's just kind of like the base set unlimited. I'm pretty sure you were never pulling a Charizard out of a Charizard pack. All three of the one's I pulled were out of Blastoise.

Unfortunately the only card store near us is 45 minutes away and totally scammy. They try not to give you your worth for the cards and have even been know to switch out peoples cards for close looking proxies, keeping the real super rare card for themselves.
