Tbh, purestream s2 can in fact mitigate the damage. But you need to m3 her s2 and max level her. And its only applied to ground unit that have big hp. And she also only able to do it if you can kill sui before her skill end.

Therapist is a good medic for this stage cuz Sui attack can be resisted, but ofc only using 1 medic is not a smart move

@@cefrinaldi8060 Huh, what is this shit I am reading? Purestream gives resist to all targets she heals from her Talent, not S2. You are talking about Whisperain, who gives resist buff through her skills instead. Also, S2L7 is perfectly fine for Whisperain, the difference between L7 and M3 is just 1 second of resist, and it's an infinite duration skill. At least read up the operators you are talking about before mouthing off.

@@cat-vv9xb Purestream s2 decrease her healing speed by a ton, defeating whisperrain s2 aspd reduction. Imagine using ptilopsis s2 but with resist added for each heal. Compared to whisperrain s2, purestream healing capabilites can sustain such damage with her s2 burst skill. I do pardon your comment thinking that you probably never touch any 4 stars or lower unit.

Purestream are much more useful than whisperrain on this stage, cuz whisperrain s2 need to wait for like a minute before giving resist. Unless you use her s1. And if you let all of the fire got consumed, you better have 2 high damage unit to combat sui. I use exwaifu s3 and surtr buffed by warf to kill it without any trouble. Its kinda weird vifer use chalter since sui thunder render most sniper without any protection almost useless.

fast-redeploy actually very good against this boss (his massive hp.. times 3, lol).. gravel can kinda pinch the fireball.. projekt red s1m3 does tons of dmg.. phantom s2m3 does nuclear dmg.. ntr s2m3 does supernova dmg.. jaye too.. and you can redeploy these guys (and girls) very often as well

fun fact: bagpipe has the highest physical damage. her 3rd skill increase her atk up to 1.5k at lvl 90 m3 and it also hits the enemy 3 times in a row so she will deal 4.5k physical damage to a single enemy

Assuming no enemy Defense. With Defense, Bagpipe's damage reduces by quite a lot due to how physical damage is calculated. Its why she isnt used for huge DPS in CC. Meanwhile, Chalter has Def reduction, which can help her (not always though, but it usually does).

​@@xnrs317 Don't forget chen alter applies 1.5x attack multiplier from trait (on all enemies during skill), and ignores some defense. On level 90, max trust and max pot, Bagpipe has 696 atk, so during S3M3 she goes to 1531 atk, which increases to 1990 if her crit triggers. She deals 4594 to 5972 damage depending on amount of crits, but since it's triple hit it's reduced by defense on those three hits. Chen alter fully maxed out as well has 886 atk, increased to 1772 during skill, which is increased to 2658 due to the trait, dealing a total of 5316, which is affected by defense twice rather than thrice, and ignores 220 of it, so she scales better against enemies with higher defense, and only deals less damage if bagpipe is getting crits on every hit. (gamepress says the trait is attack scale rather than damage scale although the game says it's damage. If it's damage, it's 2215 per hit instead, for a total of 4430, and scales worse vs higher defense, although still better than bagpipe)

The ironically most difficult part of IW-EX-8 is not accidentally killing too many wisps. The boss is a pushover, but my Ifrit kept accidentally killing too many wisps for me to get the medal so I opted to use various combinations of Surtr, Ifrit, and Silverash in order to rotate my DPS units through the phases while also letting the wisps go through. It wasn't hard... just tedious because I had to count the wisps and avoid killing them.

U can try leaking all wisp in 1st 2nd stage then kill all wisp in last stage, works for me as last stage wisp is less than 30 (leak 1 or 2 just to be safe)

You don't need much healing if you use kal sit and surtr + 1 aoe medic. Just switch between surtr and m0nst3r s3 and dragon will die eventually
