Jesus was the word made flesh and that man saw Jesus’ life and described it to the other man on the other cross, by knowing the flesh Word this man’s heart was changed even while suffering crucifixion, and this is another testament of how powerful the word is. This was such an encouraging message until it seemed to veer off of the topic in 2 Peter that believers should be adding moral excellence, knowledge, temperance, i,brotherly kindness, and love. Because if these qualities are yours and are increasing , you will be neither useless nor unfruitful in the TRUE KNOWLEDGE,of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit showed me that the KNOWLEDGE He wants to give His children is a deeper , experiential knowledge of Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 w e all with unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, ARE CHANGED, from glory to glory and this is by the Lord, the Spirit. If we are headed for an eternal dwelling with Christ in heaven where we will be worshipping and serving Hin for ever should we not continue to look into the mirror of God's word daily and get to know this GLORIOUS SAVIOR whom we will be adoring forever. And will this vision not change us to be a truer reflection of Him? Good message but just a bit off the focus that I believe the Holy Spirit wants us to know...The glories of Christ !
