Hi Miesha! ^^ about your question for the 1920s theme I don't think there'd be any way to be entirely accurate as DTI itself doesn't have an item for it. During my fashion tech and design class the first project was a presentation on a decade in the 20th century, I chose 1950s however since everyone had to present I have a good grasp on 1910s, 20s, 50s, and 70s (I genuinely don't remember the others, they blended together). In case of a decades theme here's the information I got from the presentations; 1910s - silhouette small at the waist and big everywhere else, corsets used to shrink waist down while also adding padding to chest and butt to make them bigger. Typically have high necked dresses that go down to ankles, lots of ruffles and lace on the higher class outfits. Large hats and gloves are still normalized for women at this time. Granny dress would've been perfect for this once they add it back. Hair is curled and left down or put into a mid-bun. 1920s - complete 180 from the 10s, silhouettes are blocky and lack a waist (in images from this time the dresses look like a rectangle, that amount of blocky). Typically their dresses for formal wear go down to their knees with kitten heels and very long gloves, feathers are often put on hats or in the hair. Hair is short and tightly curled to appear up. Lip colours appear to be darker shades, lack of other makeup however. 1950s - silhouettes are extremely tight at the waist once again. Teacup dresses (the Myra skirt is an example) were common in florals and polka dots, often went down past the knees (not always) and puffed out at the bottom like an upside down teacup. Commonly the dresses were pointed at the shoulders with thicker straps (the strawberry dress toggled to a shirt). Colours are vibrant and usually in a lighter-almost neon value. Women finally didn't have to wear hats or gloves anymore. A prominent figure in fashion from this time is Marilyn Monroe. Hair is cut short and curled. Imagine pop art, that's what this decade feels like. 1970s - silhouettes are still tight at the waist but flare out everywhere else. Bellbottom pants and loose button up long sleeved shirts (with low necklines) were common during this time. Hair was often permed and longer with layers (and was often abused by heat damage). Patterns are vibrant and sometimes neon, don't use just solid colours they more than likely had at least one pattern. The stereotypical disco/rave look is commonly associated with this decade. I'm unsure who had the patience to read all of this but if you did and I got something wrong please correct me, this was a while ago so I may not be remembering everything correctly (or if you have something to add tell me too). I'm confident that I at least got it half right however so I hope this helps at least a little bit ^^

For the 1920s theme, especially doing a flapper girl I always go for short hair! That was the beauty standard and trend for young women at the time. It was seen as a rebellion to traditional standards, some people opted to style their long hair into creative short bobs to avoid cutting it!
