Omg I had the same experience with my diary. Mine had a lock and when it was found I was not allowed to use diaries with locks. It really ticked me off that my private thoughts and feelings were invaded like that. I also thought to myself that when I have kids they can have diaries and not worry about me reading them or cussing them out for the thoughts they had in them😂😂 like be grateful that I'm finding a healthy outlet by writing my feelings cos I could have found other NOT so healthy ways of letting out what I was feeling.
