“I had a normal childhood.” *5 minutes later* “My dad made me change schools after he caught me holding a boy’s hand and my parents didn’t let me go outside or have a phone until I was 17/18. My parents tracked my phone until 21 and I was kicked out of my house for missing curfew by 30 minutes.” 😐 Parents that are too conservative and strict raise really odd and rebellious children. Parents that are too liberal and let their children do whatever raise really odd and rebellious children. I hope this teaches people that balance is important in raising children. You can’t be too strict and you can’t be too hands off. She seems like a genuinely cool person and not “messed up” like a lot of people in her industry, but I think she downplays how much her upbringing pushed her into sex work.

You are absolutely right. I’m currently living in the streets in NYC. It’s shocking how many homeless/addicts/prostitutes that come already broken from those conservative circles in them red states. Some have the same overly strict parents like her, some were thrown out of their families for being Gay, some were abused in them ‘pray the gay away’ camps, some were SA’d by their pastors, or escaping overly misogynistic abusive men, or just any number of reasons. I’m a Christian myself, but in my opinion that conservative, overly strict, overly religious circles are not good. They are churning out broken people like a factory. Then they all come here to NYC or LA or whatever because we have the social services they need. I’ve actually met a few people who their small town counties have just bought them bus tickets to here. It’s crazy.

She's beautiful, it's nothing against her but I think she portrayed more of an unrealistic, glamorous side to sex work. She never once mentioned high risk of STDs, bad energies and the unstable ppl you're prone to meeting in those situations. It may have worked out for her but everything isn't so easy/sunshine & rainbows.. her perspective is basically like: I had sex with 100s of ppl, we become friends, made bonds & nothing bad ever happens, yaaayy. Nah, it doesn't always work like that in the real world.

It’s unfair to call her experience unrealistic. It’s a realistic and uncommon - which is probably why you felt her story was “unrealistic” the “concept” is one that’s challenging to understand yes - but the way she grew up with “strict” parents and going to school - allowed her to have a different perspective which is all - and it’s to her point that sex is only permitted upon a some type of relationship/ commitment to person instead of it for someone like her being a form of employment/ something she enjoys. The overall concept of what we know sex/r4p3/ trauma is textbook according to us - but a different perspective is not unrealistic - but it’s uncommon and overall is a dangerous lifestyle to live which i do agree with

Of all the interviews I’ve seen on this channel, this is one of the saddest ones. I know she wants to exemplify empowerment through exhibitionism but the opposite comes across-a visceral need for validation, to be seen, to be valued through the most extreme way-even if it means it means having sex with 50 men at once. As a woman, there is something fundamentally not empowering about that no matter how many times she says there is, regardless of how much she money she makes.

I’ve followed Kazumi’s interviews for a while now and love her honesty. Although her perspective of her childhood didn’t involve sexual abuse trauma, I do believe her super strict parents definitely pushed her extreme hypersexuality. The majority of Asian home life, including hers and mine, have very strict upbringings where there’d be no going out whatsoever, not even to birthday parties. That pushed me to rebel and sneak out. So I can definitely understand that although she didn’t have sexual trauma, the trauma of having overly strict helicopter parents could push kids to rebellion of all kinds. I went to a super religious Christian school in the suburbs of LA where a lot of the kids weren’t allowed to celebrate Halloween, wear skirts/shorts that go past the knees, had to go to church three times a week, etc. Now in my 20s it’s interesting to see a lot of them now on Instagram posting half naked pictures of themselves, doing drugs, and crazy partying. It feels like when kids are intensely repressed the rebellion that can happen once they have some freedom swings in the exact opposite way that their parents wanted.

It won't be long till someone extols Christianity as the solution in the comments. Yawn.

I can strongly relate to Kazumi's life and approach to sexuality to some extent. I am also Asian and sex was never a topic at home. I was not raised as someone who would eventually have sex. It was not a taboo but just never discussed. When I lost my virginity at 19, it was a massive revelation and I threw myself into sex in the freest way possible. I had sex with strangers, did public sex and threesomes. It was awesome. But, at some point, I realised that the men I encountered were treating me with no respect, with disdain even. I even found myself in dangerous situations. That made me feel horrible. One day, I was referring this to a friend and she said something that touched me deeply. She said : "You like having sex with all these people because when they treat you like you are a Princess, you feel like a Princess. But, when they treat you like a slut, you feel like one. When you truly feel YOU ARE A PRINCESS, then you'll meet a Prince". And I realised those words were absolutely true. From then, I stopped my crazy stuff (which was actually taking a lot of time and energy from me, and not giving me much energy in return). I worked on finding my true self and embracing my value as a person, not just as a sexual being but in a broader way. Today, I am in my forties and living my best life. I am happy, I know I am capable of everything, I have a wonderul partner who treats me like the great person I know I am, and I have a teenage son who is loving and treats people, men and women, with respect. I am not saying Kazumi has the same issues as the ones that were mine. I just thought I'd share my story as ours started in such a similar way. Cheers Kazumi! I hope you'll be happy forever. ♡

We are in an incredible age of modern medicine. Sex does not have to have consequences. If partners are honest, tested, and using condoms and at least 1 other form of birth control, then the risks drop dramatically. Yes, it's called "safer sex" because you can never eliminate any possibilities. We get vaccines and they're not 100%. Who gives a fuck if she’s hurting her parents. Maybe her parents shouldn’t have hurt her by putting her in solitary confinement her whole childhood, not preparing her for life at all, putting a tracking device on their adult daughter’s phone like creepy fucking stalkers and then kicking her out onto the street to be homeless because she came home 30 minutes after her curfew when she was 19. Her parents are fucking abusers and it’s gross that so many of you don’t see that.

Sex is the soul's attempt to become alive. With maturity comes the understanding that the soul loses rather than gains energy with sex. Then you withdraw from sex and place focus on the soul itself. The soul is that which doesn't die, while she has her focus on what dies. The two different types of focus result in two distinct psychospiritual atmospheres and qualities.

“Feeds into my narcissism.” Well, apparently there IS something wrong with being a sex worker. Being a narcissist is not ok at all. Many may disagree and that’s ok. She is beautiful however I think we all know there is a reason why woman/men/they/them are sex workers and 99% of the time it’s not a positive reason. It’s obvious she has issues with her self esteem and feeling wanted. It’s ok to be a sexual person however to get gang banged and think that’s a way to be loved/wanted is a bit deranged. Having material things/money doesn’t make a person happy. Temporary gratification. Just my perspective.

I just loved her! She shows levels of compassion and understanding you don't see even in a lot of Buddhist monks. When she stopped and said with some gravity that she knows she's in a privileged position because of her money, and that she wishes all of the sex workers could have respect. That she knows how hard it is for the ladies on the street, and she wants them to have what she has. That was amazing stuff. I think every single One of us reacts to what happened in childhood. So you could point to the repressive upbringing or whatever. But so what? You can point to things like that for all of us. I really heard what she said about people wanting her to fail. People don't want people outside the norm to really have fun and be happy. It makes them aware of their own cages and resentful. I hope she continues to have success and well being, but mostly that she always keeps that sense of love for self and caring that others have respect too.

@nestortomaselli6372

Yeah, I don’t know about this one… not saying it isn’t a great interview - I think that most all the interviews on SWU are a truthful showcase of the human condition, regardless of whether the interviewees (or interviewer even) are aware of it or not. The truth shows itself, and beneath Kazumi’s youth, beauty, and plastic surgeries, I just see a girl that wears her pride on her sleeve and uses it to cope with her deep, ongoing pain and trauma toward her childhood. The mask has been so integrated in fact, that she passes that pride off as ‘empowerment,’ and even admits to her own narcissism later down the interview. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m judging her, but besides making lots of money by having tons of sex with strangers, what has been her remarkable achievement? Sure, she is well spoken, but to me it feels like a bunch of cover up and justifications for a life that is unrealistic and empty in the long run. You could also argue that, sure, there are those rare individuals that would love to live her life for the rest of their days, and keep hitting the dopamine sex button to no avail and without restraint. But how is this a good role model for women at a large scale? How can this be called female empowerment? What about mothers, women astronauts, scientists, athletes, women who have worked hard to build something that services humanity and provides an example for growth? I can understand the sex workers that come on this platform and say ‘I’m doing this to survive, but I’d never let my child do what I have done,’ and I can respect that sentiment, because they’re ultimately doing something that is negatively perceived to take care of their children or put themselves through college and eventually get out. There’s at least some honor in that. With Kazumi and other Onlyfans models I’ve seen here it feels like it’s all about hedonism and money to them. And the fact that it seems that Mark is willfully encouraging them under the pretext of ‘nonjudgement’ makes me feel… rather uneasy.
