Tbh I don’t see the big deal; they’re singing a song about themes around human instincts and it’s literally called libido, if they want to implement choreo like this to showcase that feeling and meaning then be my guest; it’s just like vixx with chained up, sumni with tail, cardi B and Megan the stallion with W.A.P

@brooke59573 жыл бұрын
imo, this is quite different from W.A.P. if you read the description of their MV (on the official channel, not stone ent.) you can learn more about the story and concept. their album is titled instinct, and they talk about how sex is a taboo/controversial topic in korea and the korean media, and the concept is kind of discovering the libido for the first time, not suppressing it and acting on that instinct (inspiration from freud as well). it's about liberation in the korean media especially , portraying it in a such straightforward way, which is different from western media which has been more open about these type of concepts for a while.

@Kdnk4223 жыл бұрын
It actually is more controversial because it's not the 90's. Most fans are worrying that they are being sexually objectified. And Koreans have mixed opinions on this as well as people from other parts of the world, so I don't think you should make it sound as if Korea is still stuck in the 90's mindset without knowing the reasons for the controversy. So many ppl just generalize a country based on few sns posts or youtube comments.

@FelixsCorner3 жыл бұрын
It indeed does- Most of their songs have this type of mature sexual concept- Some are much more mature, like 'dOra maar' and 'PicassO' that go hand in hand- but portraying a more toxic, more abusive sexual dynamic- While PicassO portrays the obsession and the perspective of the abuser, how there is apparently nothing wrong and they're just madly in love- dOra maar depicts the point of view of the victim and that dread- both lyrics contrast with eachother yet they fit perfectly. dOra maar is my personal favorite of the two, as even the sound has that kind of ting of emotional manipulation in there
