it's kinda genius how they make fans literally scream "libido libido" likee, the theme is taboo asf so this is a clever way to at least try to normalize it, kinda fits with the whole concept and how they're portraying it and actually going full on out with it, even tho it's something that is not very socially acceptable to talk about

@Aya Ria I think they're just saying it's taboo because south korea is a more conservative country and libidO was very queer in theme and the lyrics and more notably the choreography for this song were risqué because of the sensual/sexual moves between two guys. the word libido colloquially refers to sex drive, which kpop has definitely talked about before, but never (or at least rarely) in such an explicitly queer way, so as much as this one got people to talk, a lot of the talk was unfortunately and undeservedly negative even though it was pushing boundaries and doing it with such style and in such an artistic way

They're still pretty new, most rookie groups(that aren't from big companies) get the recognition they deserve after their third or fourth year of being active, even more now that there's so many big fandoms that take a big part of attention from small companies and new groups. Tbh, their companies did a good move with this concept, it gathered attention, and there's many more people now looking into them, so if they keep this creative freedom up for their next comebacks, I'm sure they'll gain a big fanbase in no time uwu~

I watched the mv the day after it came out because people were talking about groups with low views on their mvs. Since then I have been trying to learn more about them each day. Besides really liking the song my first thought was oh my gosh it's the guy with the hair. I remember I kept seeing Junji last comeback but didn't check them out because of lack of time but have thought about him ever since because I wanted to know which group he was from. And now he's my bias so great concept I'm a new fan.
