What I really love watching this (around halfway through the video is when I realized it) is that they’re not making fun of each other for being “gay”, out of embarrassment. They’re genuinely all so excited about this and their storylines and yoojung being like “omfg y’all it looks so cool and real” and junji getting shy. I just... genuinely can't get over the shock that this is happening for real, and it's a good kind of shock. I love OOO so much for being like "subtlety? YEET!" with the undergrOund idOl series. They just. threw away all veneer of plausible deniability. That's so freaking fearless. They're straight up just referring to each couple as couple, and like, they always did but after somethings as undeniable as the the 'be' series MVs so far, it sounds less like they're joking about a two people unit and more like "no yeah we're all couples in this storyline, we're all in love" I also love how the members are so hyped about each couple. Everytime I show OOO to a non-kpop fan or a newer kpop fan, they always tell me "Gosh I'd be so uncomfortable/I'd keep laughing if I had to act like I was so in love with my friend", and like, yeah same, it makes sense. But with OOO it makes so much sense, because specially in this video I feel like I can see glimpses into how they've built this level of trust and comfort. Whenever a couple does something explicitly couple-y and maddening for shippers lmao the other members are so genuinely hyped like the fans are, and then when they get all hyped, the couple in question enjoys that reaction. I don't know how to say what I'm saying in a tidy and concise way or specify exactly why and how that gets to my feels but it really does. I just really love that they love and enjoy this concept too because it's just so good and important to me. The more I watch their behind the scenes content, the more I feel like they're genuinely doing this from the heart. I genuinely thought during libidO era that "it can't possibly get better than this ;u;" because even then it was obvious to me how much they themselves like and stand by this concept, and that they understand the gravity of what it can mean to so many people. But then. But THEN. It DOES get better. And better. And BETTER. Every Single Video. I'm blown away. This makes me so happy. I didn't even know how much I wanted/needed this until I saw all of it happening, and now it feels like I'm breathing in oxygen for the first time or something. From the bottom of my heart, all my love goes towards OnlyOneOf, their teams and everyone else who made the existence of something so beautiful and accepting possible. I love how the "be" series is so genuine. Blatantly stating that these are gay couples and representing them the same way a hetero couple would be.
