He was the rising star of roots together with his great friend, the late Lacksley Castell, before he succumbed to an assassin's bullet in 1983 aged 21 years. Not the first and definitely not the last great star to be extinguished by envy. Produced and exquisitely arranged by the late great Augustus Pablo and released in 1978, this track may have prophesied his own passing. "Jah says the time has now come for all his people to trod Mount Zion.... and yes we are stepping to the land where I and I belong, so to escape the destruction of Babylon, free from the people who have no love in their hearts, only violence is their trademark.... they end up taking lives of innocent ones."

Absolutely... maybe he had a premonition since he knew the violence in JA, especially towards stars like him.
