Pardon me if I misunderstood anything but the stats shown in the video is not the total stats, most shiki's should have 150% Cdmg base stat, the +110% Cdmg you see in the video is also added together with the 150% cdmg base stat. In total resulting up to 260% Cdmg stat. Regarding if 300 cdmg not being a thing, not really. It depends on the shiki and how you're building them up for the content. In a way 300 cdmg will be used on some shiki's; Yamakaze (PVP?), Menreiki (PVE), Ryomen (PVE). But doesn't require crit since indirect damage will auto crit. Another thing is that it's also hard to build up 300% cdmg on most DPS shikis with 100% crit unless you get lucky with substat rolls. But it's still possible to achieve it.

What i mean is dps with 100% crit and 300% cdmg (150%+ ±150% just like Nagi's Tama (here's the stats kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfcpaigiNVpl5I , but this is in Enma)) build. In a nutshell, why not use this stats bcs it's cdmg is higher instead of 120 cdmg kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfcpaigiNVpl5I. If it's about indirect dmg shiki, i understand since they did not require max crit just like you state it before.

@@chillinggrin84 Then I'm not sure because I'm not Nagi, perhaps he had forgotten he had that build (Enma's) or he used a previously saved DPS set from another shiki. Most of the time I see on his vid that his DPS set isn't consistent on ATK/Crit/Cdmg (Shadow DPS set for example). Another thing could be he used the specific generated soul set option but that would be unlikely since a higher cdmg build will be given if he adjusted the cdmg setting to be more than 250%. Or he just chose this set because the ATK% is higher (+5k vs +3.5k). If we really want to go deeper into counting damage, this is what I calculated for the damage output (Base ATK + ATK% stats from souls x total Cdmg%). If we take this video's and Enma's video for counting total DPS output we get this. (Not counting Shadow's 40% boost when HP is above 70%) 3350+4958 = 8308 x 264% Cdmg = 21933.12 (SP Otake's) 3350+3471 = 6821 x 290% Cdmg = 19780.9 (SP Otake's base stat + Enma's build from the video.) So in hindsight, higher Cdmg doesn't give bigger DPS output without more ATK%. Then again we won't know how Nagi thinks, we can only speculate about it.

@@chillinggrin84 i think i'm kinda late for explaining your question. But if u still want the right answer, u can consider this one. So i check the link u give up there, and yes it's a perfect soul set for main DPS. However, if u take a look closely, u'll see that this set dont have any spd. For Enma, it wouldnt cause much trouble ( her base spd when evolve is 130, higher than 4 onmyoji main). SP Otake however only have 115 base spd, which means he'll need a little more spd for Kagura main team comp. This result in lower cdmg as we've seen in this clip. Its a good trade tho, since he can double his dmg output now with Kagura. Thats pretty much all of it. Hope it helps :D tl;dr : Nagi need his SP Otake faster than his main which result in lower cdmg stat
