Satosii, every time I watch one of your videos I fall in love with a new place... that might be easy to do with many places in Japan in general, but your film style, editing, and music, the way you build the atmosphere and setting and the story you tell through your craft, sharing your personal experience as though it were all of ours to have, is so much more than showing us footage! Thanks again for sharing ✨✨✨

Thank you. I appreciate your love for my production. I love Yasujiro Ozu's films set in the town of Onomichi…The Showa period. I want to share with you the pure beauty of that era. Human touch that glass and skyscrapers do not have.. Japanese cities may surely be scrapped and renewed to look different Showa era. But I want to leave here people's craft, their footprints. I'd be happy to play that little role.

So charming! I love these narrow streets too. ❤

Thank you Ariad! 🌆The town is very famous as the setting for great works by Yasujiro Ozu and Fumiko Hayashi. The mountains, the town, the sea and the island on the other side of the sea are all very close together and all are very old style.. It is a miracle town where the people have worked hard to preserve their beauty and old & new culture. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
