The 5th tip is probably the most useful one, at least for me. When it comes to the 1st tip, while the brown mushrooms poison you upon use, if you max out their familiarity by using them enough times then they will instead make you resist poison. Always use harmful items when it is safe to do so (i.e. not in combat or generally in danger) because they can turn into helpful items after a while.

At least one of the shells can also learn a skill that turns poison damage into health restoration :)

Eating the poison a second time give you poison immunity also, every item or get another boost or another effect when you max it out just stuff every single thing you find in the ground into your mouth and you be strong boi

@@Onos I 100% percent do! This game is the perfect mix of classic Dark Souls mood and theme with a hint of spicy Bloodborne reactions - I have no issues with it so far. Only died three times to Grisha and managed to defeat him.

my only issue with the game is I'm still in Nioh 2 mindset, and keep pressing the wrong F#*ken buttons, which ends up getting me killed a LOT! LOL

But gaining knowledge consuming the brown mushroom gives you resistance to poison.

I personally liked Soloman, but that's mainly because of the balance between health and Stamina he's got - not really because of the abilities

Got a dumb question for you. Whats the point of using ur hard shell? I still haven't figured it out LOL granted I haven't really given it much attention thanks to Ghost of Tsushima! I'm trying yo give this game a chance since it is my cup of tea

Its basically a cool down you can use... You just take the hit from the enemy and then carry on with whatever you were doing... If you get hit without it, a lot of the time it will interrupt you... Stop any attack sequence you were doing etc. And it can allow you to get hit from all sides at once and just keep going
