Mental state is not fixed just with hoping. You need to work for it. Go to the gym, go to therapy, start doing a sport (which involves interaction with other people), go to church, spend time outside (without sitting on your phone). Consistent hard work will fix anything.

This music helped me think a lot. I am in an awkward relationship with someone. It’s actually going a little too well, but I feel like I’m doing everything wrong. I have a hard time finding things in common with her, and I don’t think she looks at me the same way I do. I’m going to college in 2 years, she’s going to college in 4. I realize it’s too early for a relationship. I should stop. I’m pushing her limits, and I’m probably being a jerk or a selfish little rat. I’m planning on being open and honest with her, but it’s so hard to talk about. I’ll be crying as soon as I share the first couple things, regretting life along the way. If she hears what I say, we’ll probably never speak again, and my reputation ruined. I’m in a tight spot. I could either ghost her, try and find a healthy relationship, come clean about everything, or not do anything at all and continue being the person I am. This probably isn’t relatable to anyone else but any thoughts and comments are appreciated. I know I shouldn’t start trying to create a relationship, I feel like we should find each other somehow. I know it’s too early. I know it’s not going to last. But one part of me says there’s hope. If you read all of this, you deserve to relax, I’m proud of you, whoever you are, and I believe you are the best version of yourself. Keep on being you. ❤
