She’s won one title in 11 years and has never been in the top 10. She has improved but she’s never going to be as good a player as Garbiñe.

@John Donne Show that's her morphology, her imc is low, it's the same as barty's... she lost cause she had played 4 big games, and against pegula ,rybakina and svitolina in less than 24 hour, muguruza has played only 2 easy matchs, so the conditions gap in the last of the match is normal, between a fresh player and a player who was bustin her a*s to reach the final... congrats to mugu!! and also ONS... Ons is 12th in general rankings, and 9th this year in WTA...

muguruza has lack of confidence sometimes that has effect on her game you can see how nervous she is throughout the match, but when shes relaxed and focused she can show some of her best tennis and can perform comeback like this one! congrats to her and ons who is amazing , but i feel like shes moody player.

Loved the enthusiasm and support from the crowd. So it seems as though the crowd will just root for whoever loses the first set. They stayed on the Muguruza train til the end after the first set. But it is good to see a Grand Slam champ playing and winning a tournament like this.

Ons looks like she’s in better shape than a month ago, but people are making too much of a big deal about her. She’s been on the tour 11 years and she’s only won one tournament. She’s improved her game but she’s really not as good as everyone is making her out to be. My girl Garbiñe took her to church in the third set! Garbiñe is my second favorite tennis player after Serena and I’m pumped that she is back to top form. The sky is the limit now for her!

congratulation to gabi, great match from her BUT, i think the fact that she only played 2 easy matchs before the final, and Jabeur who played 4 matchs, against pegula, the big rybakina and the big svitolina, helped muguruza winning the trophy, when jabeur was dead physically from the second set, muguruza was fresh... especially jabeur who had a game with svitolina in less than 24 hour... little bit unfair, but it's not muguruza's fault, we can say she's just lucky... wish good luck to both....

wanted Jabeur to win but can't be mad that Muguruza won, the fight she had was incredible. Jabeur seemed to just give it all away after 3-0 in the final set so I'm a bit disappointed in her but her game is just so stylish and athletic/muscular at the same time that she is a joy to watch. Can't wait to see what she has in store for the rest of the season.

Jabuer still gets too nervous in finals despite winning at Birmingham earlier this year. Ons played a superb first set and then started to fall apart in the second when she got up a break at 3-2. She lost the final 10 games of the match due to her total nervousness. She has to get over this problem if she is to fulfill her potential. Congrats to Garbine who did start to play a lot better once she saw Ons really go down the toilet.
