Yeah ... There's only one problem with that though ... Of the two official languages of Finland, Finnish is the first language spoken by 93% of the country's 5 million inhabitants. The other official language, Swedish, is spoken by around 6% of the population, most of whom live in the south west and are also speakers of Finnish. Very few speak English. However .. they are very nice, cordial people and they'll laugh at your "banter" and humorous quips even if they don't understand much of what you are saying. .. lol .. ~~~

@@kenmurphy6792 I feel like you missed the goal by such a wide margin, I needed to correct you this much: You are underestimating - and not in the slightest way - the general knowledge of English among Finnish people. We learn it in school from a very early age, and our education system is one of the best in the world. Also: Finns consume tons of English-speaking culture through TV shows, movies and of course - music. The banter/quips on stage here is something I'd imagine a lot of the people that'd go to see the show could grasp fairly easily. Not like she was spewing out astrophysics terminology. And about our minority of Swedish speaking folks. Yes, they exist - but bringing that up in your message like you did serves the point you're trying to make very poorly. The English language is vastly known and spoken. Swedish is not. It's just a mere remnant from our country's history being part of Sweden for many a year ages ago. The Finnish accent (sometimes known as "Rally English") sounds kinda coarse, yeah. But the receptive English skills are one of the best in the world outside of (duh!) native speakers. Nonetheless, you are absolutely right about being (in general) nice and cordial people. You might've been trolling, but.. whatever :) Have a nice day!
