The best tactic when using the Hinds is to remember and ask yourself; what's going to shoot back? Remembering that you can also use defensive fire from your allied tanks to thin our the enemy flanks before they get a chance to shoot those birds.

Right now, AA is 100% too powerful. When 4 Geppards can lock down virtually the whole board from behind some buildings to double or triple their points worth of air, you know you've got a problem. Right now the best place for Air units in Team Yankee is in the hangar until something gets done. Unfortunately, the Cards system means they can ret-con all the printed cards. Its a mess. Not sure how it can be fixed now.

Not really, it's a combined arms game, like the real world. You deal with the appropriate threats in order to allow your assets to work. Yes I think LoS needs to be reworked but AA vehicles are easy kills tbh.

The rule that everything shoots first at aircraft and not even taking a penalty for their turn makes nosense to me. I'd be fine if a Gepard or other dedicated AA did this but everything in Range just makes aircraft pretty useless. Especially the soviet ones that get hit easier for some obscure reasons. I mean i have seen plenty of games and every time helis get decimated before even firing the slightest shot. And afterwards they don't have the numbers to make any difference. I don't get the logic why a totally surprising air assault should not fire before Tank AA guns. They Tankers are mostly blind as hell and that's exactly why Choppers should be their nemesis. Not the case here!

I know this is two years old, but there are some good reasons for it. Firstly, Soviets are easier to hit on a combination of doctrine and size reasons. Hinds are not Hunter killers, they aren't agile, and doctrine is against them being so. Secondly, tanker MGs have only 1 shot against aircraft (versus their normal 3 against ground targets).
